  1. Just let the guy out and publish when and where it is going to be done. Justice will happen.
  2. Just sell the 80% lower and buy one already done. It will not only resolve any issues with the ATF, it will also be of better quality. It isn't like lowers are expensive.
  3. I have to say, meat in a jar is just one of those things I will have to leave to other people to tell me how good it is .
  4. Love me the old target rifles. Have a few that are similar. Always fun to shoot.
  5. I won't disagree with this as far as teenagers, but I would say that the quality of their product is exceptional in my experience. It's one of the few products I would recommend a kid to peddle if they had to. My first set was bought from a family friends kid by my mom when we were in our 20's (late 40's now). She bought a set for me and my brother. We both still use them today and not because we can't afford to buy something else or are too cheap. They are just that good in my book.
  6. I don' know what sets they make, but I have had Cutco steak knives for 20+ years and they cut like new to this day. I bought a second set about 5 years ago and they are just as good. I have a few other Cutco's as well and all are excellent. For more value, it's hard to beat Rada knives. Just know the metal handles are not dishwasher safe. They do have serrated steak knives, but I also wouldn't go that route. For a bread knife yes, steak knives no. All of that being said, my Cutco Steak knives are partially serrated and I have never had to sharpen them.
  7. Couldn't happen to nicer group as far as I am concerned. The arrogance there was stifling.
  8. I have 3 cats from that as well. Wanted some outside cats for the shop so I took them in when they were dropped off as kittens by some scumbag. Being the sucker I am, they are sitting on the couch next to me right now. They get along good with the dog and can be pretty funny at times. Never thought I would be a cat person, but they have grown on me.
  9. This morning I had some jackass throw 3 chopped off buck heads on my property from the road. Called TWRA but don't expect there is a thing they can do about it now, but I also wanted it noted I called in since it was 3 bucks. I guess I am going to have to put up some cameras along the road. I am tired of the scumbags throwing their trash out. Time to start putting them on notice.
  10. Brownells has some depending how bad you need it.

  12. Sorry, got busy and forgot about pictures. I will get some posted tomorrow.
  13. He wants someone to put together a list of gun shows showing the next ones coming first. Team player and all being his 4th post. As I would tell my friends, "Do it your F'n self".
  14. These are essentially brand new. Bought my new truck, drove it home and to the Discount Tire to have new A/T tires put on. These have exactly 117 miles on them. $xxx picked up in Chapel Hill.
  15. Nice find, but it doesn't appear to me to be a bull barrel. The true bull barrels are almost the same diameter as the action itself. Looks to be a heavy or even possibly standard barrel, but nice none the less.

  17. No, it's a satirical joke about the obvious ridiculousness of the Democrats narratives about gun control and those evil looking "assault rifles".
  18. As my normal planning goes (meaning no planning), going on a short trip this weekend near Chattanooga and asked the question too late to get the Penn reel, but Bass Pro down there has a St. Croix Premier Series M/F 7' rod and I am getting a Shimano Vanford 2500 to use with it. Should be a nice combo from the reviews. I will end up with one more so will order the Penn reel and decide on what other rod once I use this one a bit. Thanks for the feedback!
  19. Thanks Mac, that's the exact kind of feedback I was looking for. I don't mind spending that much for a couple of rods/reels that I know will last. If I can ever get my house sold, I will be moving to Tim's Ford so it will mostly be lake fishing, but I do go to the beach every now and then. Nice to know they can handle periodically without issue.
  20. I know we have some fishermen here so I figured I would tap into some knowledge related to a good "value" rod and reels. I haven't fished in quite a while, but am going to try and start back a bit. I am looking for any recommendations on quality reel(s) and rod(s). I will probably pick up a couple. I am a believer in "value" meaning I don't mind spending more money for a better quality product. It's simply a price/quality decision within reason. No set budget and to be honest, I don't even know what a good reel costs nowdays. Mainly fresh water fishing for bass, crappie, etc. Thanks.
  21. I would not even attempt to use them. It's unfortunate, but much less unfortunate than a hang fire or something like that. Toss them and consider it a lesson. I am not necessarily slight risk averse, but when it comes to things like this, it just isn't worth it.
  22. I bought this from the guy I purchased my mill from. I have sold both my lathe and mill and don't have a need for this anymore. Works well and will come with 2 new blades. Well used, but works great. Coolant pump works as well. $xxx picked up in Chapel Hill. Check a new price on one and you will quickly realize this is a deal. Thanks.
  23. Here you go. It should be noted that when downloading from here, it will be smaller than what it actually uploaded as well. It optimizes it for display to make it no larger than it needs to be within reason.
  24. If on Windows, Just right click on the file you want to use (assuming it is a jpg, gif, or png) and select edit. It should open in Paint (if not, use Open With and select Paint). Click Resize and then select Pixels. Change the top value to something like 300 and SAVE AS a different file name so you don't lose the original. Then right click on that file and select Properties to see the size. If still to large, do it again and select 200 as the value. You shouldn't need to worry about dpi, etc.
