  1. I live in a house with a mixed marriage. My wife is a Gator and I'm a Vol so when that game is on and we're having adult beverages we hide the guns.
  2. I always get a laugh from chase scenes. You hear the gears change a dozen times when accelerating from a stop and tires "squealing" even when the car is on dirt.
  3. I must just go at the wrong times cause I miss all the good stuff. I've never seen Elvis or the OR Mall Ninja.
  4. Getting nervous here. We've had our house 10 years and I've replaced everything but the dishwasher. I have no idea how old it is or what the life exediency is. I guess when I find a flood in the kitchen I'll know. I agree with TDR. Change the element if it won't cause a divorce. If it will I'd give in and buy the stove.
  5. Buck, thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading his story. Clearly a talented guy.
  6. I wonder when this actually happend (how long ago) and if it got the guy an appearance on Leno, Letterman or SNL. That's a hoot.
  7. I saw that on TV last night and laughed out loud
  8. I went to Pellissippi state for my 1st two years. I went throught the UT catalog and matched up course for course what would transfer from Pellissippi to UTs engineering school. I didn't get the AS because there were three classes that Pellissippi required that wouldn't transfer. It's the way to go because the cost is less but the education is equivalent and you'll end up graduating with less debt.
  9. Wikipedia says filming began in Australia in 2007 and the release date is March 14, 2010.
  10. The only reason I have HBO is becasue I signed up for it in 2001 when Band of Brothers was released. I've since purchaed the disc set and between History and Spike reruns and the disc set I've probably seen it a dozen time. I've also read the book. I got to go the National WWII museum last year. It covers per and post WWII and all of the major battles and theaters of operation. I also has a lot of reference to Dick Winters and the 101st. It's worth the trip. I look forward to the release of The Pacific.
  11. One of the things I really like about this site is that no matter what I am wondering about someone else will be wondering the same thing. All I have to do is wait for them to ask and someone else to answer. I saw the THP tractor at the Watt Rd. truck over the weekend and was eat up with curiosity about it. I think their is a officer with the Blount Co. Sheriff's dept. that took a VW and put the dept. markings and a light bar on it and made it his "cruiser". We, Oak Ridge, had a Mustang that was confinscated several years ago. The equipment shop painted it black and white and put dept. marking on it and an light bar and the SRO drove it to work at the high school for several years.
  12. I'm fill out a leave slip so I can take tomorrow off.
