  1. We had a good experience with B&B Processing in Lewisburg last weekend. They will take deer donations to Hunters for the Hungry with NO FEE ($20 if you dont field dress it). I believe they will charge $60 to process it for you if you want to keep the meat. You can also pay to process the deer and take some of the meat and donate the rest if you like. B&B Processing, 1850 Old Columbia Rd - Lewisburg, TN 37091 - (931) 637-1234

  9. Yea he did.. its sitting on a steel base. it aint going anywhere! But the cool thing is, the blind can come down and be moved to other parts of the property. Might be good when turkey season comes.
  10. That's kinda what we did. Dad constructed the most amazing portable hunting blind from PVC and weatherproof vinyl. Its got closeable shooting windows and offers nearly 360º of vantage point. We put it up near the barn.. about 20ft in the air with a great look at the location where the camera had shown the deer traffic as well Dad and I just had a great time in there over the weekend watching the deer come through. I didnt get any shots in on Saturday, but dad got one on Sunday and donated it to Hunters for the Hungry. Being out in the woods, bagging a deer, and helping hungry families = WIN! Cant wait to go back out there and get one for myself. Enjoy the pics. Here is the blind in place Looking out toward the camera point. (the truck tracks lead right to it) Lots of deer coming out of that point into the field. We can see out to about 200 yards in each direction Looking out to the South.. saw a nice buck courting a doe. Me and Dad staying warm after sunup. Congrats Dad! Thats some good eatin.

  18. im actually in the deer stand right now! (hows that for modern technology?) no clean shot opps yet. dad and i saw a big doe hustle through early this morning... and then around 9am a 6 pointer came out into the field chasing a doe. they jumped around for a bit and she wasnt having any of it so he chased her in the woods.... waiting for something to happen before sundown!
