Let me rephrase. Money does matter when it comes to a shotgun but I want opinions that aren't restricted by money.

I went on Friday morning. I haven't seen this thread with the information of the new prices. I'm a member there so it was free but my buddy went and I told him 5 bucks...not a huge deal but I won't be renewing.

I'm in the market for a shotgun. As with my previous hunting post, I know very little about shotguns. My question to you guys may be fairly loaded. If money didn't matter, what shotgun would you get and why? I do know people like different guns for duck, versus pheasants, versus clay shooting. I would mainly use it for shooting clays and hopefully bird hunting. So basically whats a good all purpose shotgun?

I guess I should for the OP, I'm not wanting to limit myself to deer hunting. I would also like to learn to fowl hunt. Thanks!!!

I picked up this shotgun the other day. I don't know a ton about it. I found some information here and there but I was wondering what you all thought about it. It does have a poly choke (see pictures). It's in very good condition. What's good/bad about this gun? What do you think this gun is worth with the poly choke? Where could I get a new barrel for it? Thanks!

I have a two part question. I have an older shotgun that's worth a little bit of money. I was wondering if a poly choke decreases the value of it and/or how do you get it off without cutting the barrel? Thanks!

I agree they should have used the snake for food. Currently, they have plenty of food so they may not be in that mindset since it was day 2 or 3. Also, that fight at the end was sad. May have been the worst fight I've seen. Good to see that this time the intruders can use some force.

I'm watching it right now. So far it's like they all watched the first season.

While I don't agree with what the store did, it is a business. They get more money selling used guns then they do from the new markups (mostly). I would say websites like this, which allows owners to sell their guns at actual used prices, really puts the hurt on the gun stores. I feel sorry for the guy with the two .38s...at least he is happy with his new gun.

We tossed around the idea of not finding out, but we almost have to find out. I'm on a limited income because I'm in school and we are buying things now versus when the baby is here. We figure it's smarter to buy things slowly instead of all at one.
