This past weekend I was invited to Maidendownbay Bay (www.maidendownbay.com ) hunting preserve in SC to hunt with my uncle and cousin. I flew out of Nashville Friday, arrived in Charleston Friday night. I hunted Saturday morning at Maidendown Bay, then Sat night on a river near Myrtle Beach. I got up Sunday and flew back to Nashville. I have never experienced duck hunting quite like this at Maidendownbay Bay. I filmed the hunt with my GoPro mounted on my head. I bought an Arsenal. Had a canted front sight. Arsenal said my rifle was out of warranty even though I bought it a week before NIB from Outpost. Long story short Outpost sent it back for repairs. They had to pay about $100 to fix the sight. The rifle ran flawlessly in every other aspect. After the sight was fixed there were no other problems. I sold the rifle bc I saw that I could build the exact same AK but how I wanted and even better for the same price if not less. Would I buy another Arsenal? Yes. Would I pay what I paid and what they are going for again? HELL NO!!! I'm building my Saiga right now.....

Nathan said that like 90% have curved ones....dunno what that means about mine? I mean I bought my Arsenal this past spring and had to send it back for warranty work and the warranty had already expired even though I bought it brand new. They said it must have set on the shelf for a while? So I can't really tell how old my Saiga is even though it was bought earlier this year?

Some said the only way to find out is to cut off the cover in front of the sight post and see if it will unscrew. They said if its not threaded that it will still help you out by cutting it off to get it threaded.

So everybody is probably familiar with the problems that I had with the canted front sight post on an Arsenal I bought earlier this year. I decided to just get my money back out of the rifle after it was fixed. I successfully did that. The main reason for selling the Arsenal was bc I saw that for the same amount of money or even less I could build the AK that I wanted. Last week I picked up an unconverted Saiga 7.62x39 from hipower on here. I just ordered the conversion items from Carolina Shooters Supply. I am going to have Nathan "AK Guy" do the conversion for me. With Nathan's help I have put together a list of parts and modifications for my build. I figured I would share my build with everybody and see what everybody's inputs on the parts I'm going to use. I would like negative and positive feedback on parts if anybody has used any of the ones that I plan on using. I also plan to go with a black/od green theme. I heard that the "money" in the family came from his wife's family. They had some gold thing in Florida? I bet after all this and the money coming from his wife for everything, he will be left with nothing.....

I always carry mine. Only bad thing is if you want to have a few drinks? If you don't drink then no problem? I have also had some girls want to go shoot and it turned into a fun second date.

I guess I could pick some up and deliver....for a delivery fee?
