  1. Just the things that Lynn has said over the years. He outsources his knives and claims that he makes them himself. He bad mouths several knife companies that make a far better product and if you ever see one of his videos he caters to mall ninjas. I met the man and found him to be an arrogent obnoxious person so I have never bought any of their knifes. Having said this I have heard several people like yourself that have nothing but praise for their company
  2. I never have and never will own anything from Cold Steel, Lynn Thompson the owner is the reason. If you knew what I do about him and their product you would stay away from them
  3. I donated some funds via Pay Pal for the Seller to help with his purchase, I think it is awesome what he has done with this auction!
  4. Here are a couple of very cool videos that show why myself and many others think CRK knives are the best production knife on the planet!        Part #1   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QiEnhA3n0A        Part #2   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj6p8p6vfZQ
  5. Well, I decided its time, I am ordering my Shrike in the AM when RMJ opens up. These are incredible tools/ weapons that I just had to have!
  6. Thanks, Yes, you should get yourself a Pacific first, trust me you will love it!
  7. I finally broke down and ordered a Wilson Combat Startac, I previously owned a Chris Reeve Umnumzaan and did not really care for it compared to my Sebenzas, but after meeting Major Kong I was extremely impressed with his, I am not sure exactly what Bill Wilson and company do to the knife aside from the starburst inlays in the titanium handles but I loved his enough to order myself another expensive knife! Damn you Fred!!!! LOL Anyway I hope to have my new knife by the end of the week!
  8. Anyone know where one is for sale new in box?
  9. Nice pistol! I will get one
  10. Go for a Chris Reeves, Pacific, I love mine and in my opinion that is the best fiixed blade knife in the $300.00 price range http://www.chrisreeve.com/pacific.htm And No, I am not trying to save you money, rather show you the best way to spend it on a fixed blade knife!
  11. Mt Juliet
  12. I go through there a lot, correct me if I am wrong that is the immigration line not where you clear customs I am a member of the Global entry program I simply use the kiosk and bypass that liine The people letting people through those lines are custom agents not TSA contractors I have seen it that bad years ago that is why I am in the trusted traveler Global Entry program
  13. Just so you know, you could have sent that Sebbie back to Chris Reeves and they could have done the spa treatment on it and made it look brand new, myself anyway I would not trade a Sebbie for all four of those knives, but I love Chris Reeve knives
  14. A 1911 is the handgun that the good Lord himself would be carrying, they are simply just that good!
  15. Yes, They are indeed still a first rate company!
  16. Just pulling your Chain Eric I think mine will be built in Febuary, but I know first hand it will be well worth the wait!
  17. I think he is making mine next month, since I got 5 other people ordering from him
  18. Well, We just got back from our vacation in the Smoky Mountains, we spent a week in an awesome cabin secluded in the woods. Lucily we missed the fires. On the way I got the pleasure of meeting Major Kong, he and I did a trade and I now have his Sebenza 25 and a Rolex Submariner and he has my Nighthawk 1911 and my Yuna custom knife, thanks again Fred I am very happy with the trade and Yun has me in line to build me another exactly like that one so life is good! We always stop at the Smoky Mountain knife works every time we are up that way. This time I had no intention of buying any knifes but I saw something in the display case that caught my eye. I bought a large fixed blade Buck 124 Limited Edition. It is a gorgeous knife that caught my eye the moment I walked in the store. For $143.00 out the door this is an awesome knife. I have owned several folding Bucks but this is my first fixed blade model. My father worked for Buck knife when I was a child and we lived in El Cajon California, it is nice to see the company still makes their knifes in the USA and I am very impressed with the quality of the 124. I am truly amazed at just how nice this knife is for the money, I will post some pictures when I get the chance!
  19. No worries Fred, I love the Rolex and the Sebenza, Yun is making me an exact knife as that one!
  20. Very Nice!
  21. That is a very nice looking piece, I need to check one out!
  22. No worries on Hi Jacks fellows, I love seeing knives that I am not familiar with, Fred we will see you tomorrow my friend!
  23. Awesome knife!
  24.       I will most definitely try to make Blade this year all depending on what my company has going on then, I have never seen one of the Laconico knives, I will have to check them out But if you like the looks of RJ's knives I can assure you that you will cherish them for not only their flipping ability but for fit and finish as well the guy is a perfect gentleman and one hell of a knife maker
  25. Congrats, very nice rifle!
