  1. (In my best Kanye West voice) The NRA doesn't care about machine gun owners.
  2. Most places I've looked are +29, with one at +30. It will continue to grow as long as the money keeps coming in on Bama.
  3. And as far as the worst fan base as a whole I would have to give that one to Florida. If you fly your teams flag on your car in Gainesville be prepaired to have your car keyed or your lights smashed out when you come back to it after the game. UGA would be a close second. They love talking smack even if their team sucks. All of the fans I came across in Death Valley were very nice and just out to have a good time and get smashed drunk and make some awesome food. I was tailgating with one of LSU's biggest boosters so that might have been the reason why. I have heard horror stories about trips to Death Valley. From my experience just be prepaired to hear "tiger bait" about a million times and you will be good to go.
  4. Yea I saw some LSU girl throw up in the stands. And UTPD had to take two LSU fans out before half time. During the UGA game we had a UGA fan dropping the F-bomb left and right with kids sitting around. Every fan base has "those people". I saw a young girl (17-18) wearing UT gear puke all over herself and couldnt even walk in the G10 parking lot before the UGA game. The bad part was it looked like she was with her parents. I like mixing me a drink during the game, but dont let myself get out of hand.
  5. I'm not going to make this trip. I'm going/went to all but one home game and already had family stuff planned for Sat. I've never made the trip to T-town but hear it is a great place to see a game. I hope everyone going reps. UT in a good fashion. Some UGA and LSU fans made asses of themselves thes last two weeks at Neyland.
  6. He had two young sons. My thoughts are with his family.
  7. It is the second biggest spread UT has ever had. Florida was a 30 point favorite in 2009. I think Bama covers and wins by 30.
  8. I don't know what it was, but from the pic it looks like he drank a lot of it.
  9. That might as well be free money. Better call your bookies because that line will grow throughout the week.
  10. Hi-Point's warranty is rock solid. I know a guy who got a piece of .40 brass stuck in the barrel and then put five .45 bullets behind it and bulged the barrel. He told Hi-Point this when he called them and they just said send it in. He had a completely rebuilt gun back to him in about a week.
  11. ND has no reason to join a conference. They are making the big bucks from NBC all on their own and they don't have to divide it with 9-10 other teams. I would like them to join a conference, but I don't think they will anytime soon.
  12. Slim to none. But there is always a chance, just ask Appy State. That is why the play the game. I will still be there cheering on my team just like I was Sat. night against UGA. I would rather be a fan of a bad UT team than a fan of anyone else. And to lostpass, those players that Fulmer had were also the ones who lost to Wyoming. It is just gonna take time to right the ship. That is what 99% of Vol fans under 30 don't realize. These are the first real bad years they have experienced, and it really shows when you read some of the stuff they post on Vols forums. Every program goes through it. Bama, Texas, Florida, ND, everyone.
  13. That is an amazing piece. Something your family can treasure for many generations.
  14. About what did you have to pay for a glass of it at a bar? At $50-$65 a bottle, I don't imagine that it was cheap.
  15. I shot my buddies FN45 Tactical that had a red dot mounted on it. It was neat to play with at the range but I dont think I would ever put one on my FN even if the slide was cut for it. I do like the fiber optic front sight though.
  16. I don't know. I was reading on another KY gun forum and they were talking about getting on waiting list at their local liquor store to save them a bottle. It must go pretty quick. Maybe someone else will chime in that may have bought it here in TN.
  17. My buddy from KY was telling me about this special bourbon that Buffalo Trace releases once a year in the Fall. It is called George T. Stagg. It is totally unfiltered and uncut. The press release says that this years batch was distilled in the Winter of 1993 and is 142.6 proof. It is part of a 5 bottle limited release "antique collection" that they do every year. I read that they are going to start shipping this week so I am going to pick up a bottle in KY while I am at Knob Creek to try out. I read that the 2010 George T. Stagg was named "Top Spirit in the World" for 2011 by The Spirit Journal. Any of you guys every had any of the previous years George T. Stagg? Here is the press release. https://www.buffalotrace.com/main.asp?page=pressroom
  18. I would go with the FN. I bought one when they first came out a few years ago and I love it. I have shot every kind of ammo I can find through it and it has fed everything. I haven't cleaned it in over 850 rounds. I'm not going to clean it until it starts messing up. I just got in some night sights for it and I'm going to stick those on tomorrow. Other than that it is a factory stock gun. The FN is a big gun no doubt. But the grip isnt as big as the Glock 20/21. I have little girl hands and the Glock is too big for my hands, but the FN fits fine. I am looking to buy another one in the not so distant future.
  19. If you are serious about it save your money and get a set of PVS-14's. I'm sure they are not the best out there, but they are more than good enough for civilians. I can drive a 4-wheeler through the woods in the middle of the night without any moonlight with no problems at all. Then once you save more money get a PEQ 15 IR laser/illuminator. Then you will have the same set up that most of the .mil guys are running. The PEQ 15 is kinda hard to come by, but if you keep looking you will find one.
  20. You boys are really getting after the deer with the stick and string. Nice job all of you guys!
  21. I am happy for Lions fans. Yall have had it rough for years. Hope the success continues.
  22. The LSU/Bama game will be the real National Championship game. I hadn't watched Bama play until last night. And Trent Richardson is scary good. The the team is huge across the board.
  23. Oct. 14th-16th. It is always the second full weekend in April and October.
