  1. They definitely work. I test the Knoxx pistol grip on a 870 AOW and you could really tell the difference in it and the regular pistol grip.
  2. I am excited about this thread because we have some really good photogs here on TGO. And I need all the help I can get with my picture taking skills.
  3. How do their prices compare to other sellers? I'm just trying to do a little research for a future project.
  4. Lances, do you know anything about J&T Distributing's M79 parts? They say that they have all parts minus the receiver in their catalog.
  5. Not all G18s do. There is the G18, which doesn't have any ports. And the G18C which is compensated just like all the other "C" model Glocks.
  6. Doesn't have to be law enforcement. I'm pretty sure that was James DeGroat's G18. He owns DeGroat Tactical Armament, which specialize in M134 Mini Guns. That video was taken at Knob Creek a few years ago by the way. They were testing a MP5 Beta Mag that had been converted to fit in the Glock. I'm curious as to how he doesn't "act" like a LEO?
  7. +1 on Timney triggers. This is the one I have used on two rifles and I love it. AR-15 Skeletonized
  8. Na, it's the way the letter is written. It is good to get the information out there, but I hate when scare tactics are used like that.
  9. +100 on the Hunter's Education Course. This should be your first stop. You and your husband should take it with him, make it a family event.
  10. That is old news. (Nothing against the OP) Looks like a letter with one purpose and one purpose only, to try to scare you into sending money them. No thank you.
  11. Is this the same Destiny that post over on subguns.com? If so, she is a expert in all things DD.
  12. My buddy had an Olympic Arms AR pistol without the buffer tube and blew it up when he shot it with his suppressor on it. Just something else to think about if your are going to run a suppressor. I like the buffer tube because you can use it as a improvised stock and still fire it from your shoulder. The Kel Tec and the pistols without the buffer tube you are just kind of holding them up there.
  13. I've got a pair of Steiner binos that I really like. They are the 10x26 Predator. They are lightweight, and very clear. If you want to play with them and see if you like them I can meet you and you're more than welcome to keep them for a few weeks.
  14. What did your build run you money wise?
  15. Guys, please keep it on topic. And don't make the debate personal.
  16. I was thinking the same thing about my PM40. That is a great looking gun.
  17. What kind of stock do you want? Wood? Synthetic? Laminate? What length barrel do you want? What profile barrel do you want? Do you want stainless, parked or blued metal? Answer these questions and then narrow your options down from there.
  18. Just in time for Summer vacations.
  19. I would do like Joe said and just look for a used upper.
  20. All I can tell you as they didn't let me shoot mine. But YMMV.
  21. Prayers outbound for her.
  22. I'm pretty sure that Owl Hollow doesn't allow .50's. At least they didn't when I went to a TGO shoot down there. I don't know of any public ranges besides Knob Creek that allow .50's because they really eat up the berms. Good luck.
  23. Never heard of it. I just pull a bore snake through the barrel and wipe off any excess grease or oil.
  24. Nightforce.
