  1. Wow I feel like less of a man after reading HeroGears list, lol, what a great collection. I think my next pistol will be a Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail in 10mm. They fit my hand so good plus its a 10mm. I want a HK Mark 23, just because I'm a HK snob. But at close to $2000 for a pistol, Im going to have to save a little while. -Jason G
  2. Merry Christmas guys and gals. Worked today but off tommrow and back to work on Friday. Going to Grandparents tommrow then having my moms side of the family at the house. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas and remember the brave men and women who cant be home for Christmas in your prayers. -Jason G
  3. Yea they "allow" it but they seem to bust the full auto guys balls out there. When we were out there there was a guy shooting a M16 and the entire time he shot a range nazi was hovering over him. he told him if u get off target one time ur gone. the man proved them wrong and stayed on target the whole time. Another time me and my dad and brother were shooting a SEMI 1919a4 on a locked down tri-pod. well the range goes cold and me and my bro walk down to change targets while dad stays back. while he is messing around on the line one of the R.O.'s says, "i dont know why anyone needs that f#&king thing". well when we go hot again dad ask a young boy, maybe 7 or 8, if he wants to shoot the 1919. so he runs a 100 round belt through it. we had to get a bucket for him to stand on so he would be tall enough. he climbed down and had the biggest smile on his, his dads, and all of our faces. dad went right down to the potty mouth R.O. and told him, "thats why I NEED that gun". We said screw the range nazi's and joined a private club in KY. Sorry for the long post but guys like that hurt all of us. Just a warning for all you NFA guys before you go out to Stones River. -Jason G
  4. Prayers inbound. It hurts when I hear that anyone is sick but it is a certain kind of pain when you hear that a child is the one sick. Sometimes is just makes you want to ask why? But anyone who has faith knows that HE works in strange ways. I truly hope nothing but the best for you and your family in the days left in 2008 and I hope 2009 is a great one. -Jason G
  5. I would cut to 18.5. You will have a little "wiggle" room if the cut is bad. Plus it will help end any questions you might get about it being too short. -Jason G

    FIRE

Yea they are VERY stupid but dont worry about the AK. Im sure it was a postie, prob not more that $400-$500 for class 3 dealers. Now if it was a transferable then I would be crying with u. -Jason G

    Kahr P380

I played with a P380 at the NRA convention in Louisville. They seem to be a sweet little gun. They ARE smaller than a Kel-Tec. That is the only thing that might be bad about them. A .380 Kel Tec is a handfull I dont know how something that is smaller will handle when you shoot it, u better hang on. I forgot what retail is going to be on this gun (becasue they have delayed it some much) but i think it going to be $550-$675? Thats awfull expensive for a BUG. -Jason G
  8. If its the one I am think of, the one with the doctor optic mounted on top, thats a $1200+ optic. I had to be a fake, if it seems to good to be true then it is. If i was looking for high end stuff like that then I would save my money for a little while and get it from a dealer. i dont know much about the fakes but there are too many of them out there to dodge when your looking for a high end piece like that. Good luck. -Jason G
  9. The R.K. Shows are always advertised here in Nashville as the "biggest in history" and stuff like that. There is one this weekend, I saw the ads in the paper yesterday. Its always the same stuff, priced way too high. I guess they run this scam at all of their shows. -Jason G
  10. Good looking Garand. Did you order it from CMP or go down and pick it out urself? I think we might be making another trip down to CMP next week to get some more rifles and ammo. -Jason G
  11. And I am the first one to stand up and say THANK YOU for what you do/done for our country, but I was just trying to give an opinion, it maybe not right but good men like you fight so we can have an opinion. Again thank you for your service. -Jason G
  12. I guess since I'm not a mod. I cant have an opinion? I didnt say that it was what everyone should think but its what I believe. I think the 1st amendment gives me the right to have an opinion doesnt it Mr. mod? -Jason G
  13. I dont know about you guys but I really could care less about the Iraqi people. Most of them would not think twice about killing American women and children. Do I think that it is right to target them? NO, but some will get killed in war, thats what happens. 2,974 innocent American people died on September 11, 2001, I think we need to remeber that when talking about how bad it is that some civilians died in Iraq, yea it happened, lets move on. The case was B.S. from the start, using a 80's drug law to "get" the Blackwater guys, total bull-*****. -Jason G
  14. I was into RC stuff for a while. I thought I was going to be smart and buy the Real Flight Simulator and practice on it first. So I did and was pretty good at it so i thought i would move up to a real helicopter. I got a bigger electric one and put the "training wheels" on it, the big sticks on the bottom so u can learn how to hover. I took it out 2 times and had a rotor strike the 2nd time out. i fixed it and sold it as fast as I could. i wanted to get some money out of it before I totally destroyed it. The simulator is fun but i will stick to guns for now. Maybe airplanes one day.... -Jason G
  15. Guys the best piece of advice I got when I did my HCP was to not look for it. Dont think about it and one day you will go out and it will be there. Try not to think about it every day and you will make it. -Jason G
  16. Looks good, Ive got a SA that was made April of 1944. I am hoping to get a HRA in the next few months. They are truly great weapons. Stock up on the Greek ammo from CMP, its a great deal. -Jason G
  17. Hey guys thanks for the comments. Some details on the gun. It started its life as a Bobcat Weapons BW-5 pistol. I put all new HK internals in it, the gun ran fine without them, but i wanted to replace them with HK. I got the 4 postion lower and had it clipped and pinned. Filled my NFA paper work and added the A3 stock which is factory HK. I am just a poor college student so I cant afford a full auto MP5, this is as close as I can get for now. I hear sears are commming down a little, though. I think between 13-15k. One day.... -Jason G
  18. David, there is nothing that any of us can say that will take away the pain you and your wife are feeling. They say there is no worse pain than loosing a child. But take comfort in knowing that he is resting with the Lord now. They both will always be watching over you and your wife. Words cannot express my sorrow. Hang in there buddy. -Jason G
  19. The GSG is semi auto. I havent shot either one of them yet, but I hope to in the next few days. The GSG will take the folding stock made by GSG, but only after the NFA paper work is done for a SBR. -Jason G
  20. Hey guys I picked up a few new toys last week and I'm just now getting a chance to post some pics. The first is a GSG-5PK, the MP5-K sized GSG-5, its got a 4 inch barrel. Next is a Kahr PM40 with night sites. I think it's going to be a great little pocket gun. Now both together.
  21. My stamp finally arrived today, didnt think it would ever get here. Here is my time line. Mailed on Aug. 28th, went pending on Oct. 10th, was approved on Nov. 20th, and arrived here on Nov. 24th. So about three months door to door. I think that the NFA times will be slowing WAY down, since everyone is trying to get there stuff before Obama gets in. Her she is....
  22. Gene-O i think you will be lucky to have it by Christmas. I hope it gets approved sooner though. -Jason G

    50 cal

I have had my .50 for two years now and in that time alot has changed in the semi M2HB world. Parts have become harder to find and more expensive. Ammo has went from relatively cheap (for a .50) to over $4 a round but it has come back down a little. We built all of our .50's. We got parts kits and re-built them back into semi's using new side plates and machining the internals. That would be pretty hard to do now and still find good parts. In my opinion TNW guns are not so good, espically the spade grips they put on them they look horrible. Allied Armament was building guns but they got out of the business for good. I think Ohio Rapid Fire built a few but I havent heard from them in a while. Most of the guns out there now are M3AC, aircraft guns, built back into ground guns. Most people cant tell the difference if they arnt a ".50 guy", this is the cheapest route. I know a company who has over 50 M2HB's, M3HB's, and M3AC's in stock. They are very nice guns, I have seen them all in person. PM me if you would like to know more about them or their contact info. You will spend between $7500-$8500 on just the gun. You will need a mount, a linker, a headspace guage, and lots of ammo. If you would like you can come and check our guns out, we have both the ground and aircraft configurations and maybe we can put a few rounds down range. Just let me know. -Jason G

    50 cal

Cool I can see how you would think that. I took it as "which guys make semi M2HB's". Well I guess we have got his bases covered on all .50's then. -Jason G

    50 cal

Guys I think yall read his post wrong. He said Ma Duce, you know the M2HB .50 cal, you know a real .50 cal, lol. Kinda like this one.. And why yes I have fired one, lots of times. If I can help you in any way pm me or just ask any questions you might have. Between me and my brother and my dad we have a few. -Jason G
