I don't get the vest deal. I know Massad Ayoob wants everyone to wear one (along with carry two cell phones from two different providers, two flashlights, etc), but I don't want to look like I'm on an African safari, or like Aladdin.

Well, look past the polished stainless steel goodness. I just think the lines of the S&W are cleaner than the Taurus, too. Taurus guns are all fugly to me.

I usually use Break Free for cleaning gunk, Remington bore cleaner for brushing the bores, and Rem Oil for a final coating. My only thing is I wish there was something that lasted a little longer than Rem Oil.. it seems to dry up rather quickly. It's not a huge deal though because then I get an excuse to fondle guns again.

Right now I have the Rush In Rio live DVD in, and it's playing ****ing LOUD.

I have an old Mossberg bolt action .22 Model 45b with a tubular magazine. The damn follower shot out of the spring the last time I shot it and flew somewhere in the grass.. I spent an hour looking but I couldn't find it. Anyways, does anyone know a source for these? I looked at Midway but they didn't seem to have anything. I stop in every now and then, but usually don't stay long because I don't smoke, and don't like smelling like I do.. seriously, that place is like walking into a bar. But, Rabbi is right, they do have everything. Their prices are high for guns but like Rightwinger said, cash will bring the price way down. Oh yea, they have a ton of used rifles and shotguns.

I'd rather have a blue gun. At least with it you can beat it up, bang it on walls, etc. I know that if I brought an expensive gun to a training class, part of me would be wanting to protect it and make sure it doesn't get scuffed or scratched.

It would have been quicker and safer to just move the shotgun over the guy's head instead of covering his feet with it.
