I incrased mine to $6000 a few years ago. I never saw a change in my premium. Nationwide.

Unless the guy was in my vacinity or coming my way, I'd turn and run the other way. I have a family who be sad if I was gone, and a lot to live for.. I'd be sorry the people in his sights had their cards pulled, but I'm not going to go looking for the guy.

Thanks for the heads up Mike. I had a Kimber I bought last spring and sold it not long ago because I wanted to get another one, just with night sights and a rail. I didn't have any problems out of it. Hopefully another Kimber will perform like the last one did. The pitures are from a Gunbroker ad. Not if it stays concealed! But really.. even if the gun is seen, SIS doesn't mean they are SIS. Look at me, I'm about to get one, I'm not SIS!

One thing I can't stand on 1911s is the solid trigger. I don't think it looks so bad on this gun, but I'll probably replace it with a different trigger.

It's like modifying everything else whether it be cars, motorcycles, or what have you.. if you upgrade one part, chances are you are going to have a weak link somewhere down the line that will be exposed, and that must be upgraded as well.. it's a chain reaction of wallet emptying.

I can't remember the last time I had the flu. I've been getting a flu shot every year since I was 14 and all I ever get is a cold that lasts a week a couple times a year. Then again, some people get flu shots and still get what they think is the flu.
