J frame revolver in .38 spl sounds like it would fit the bill. Rw's 642 is exactly that.

So you like revolvers or is that the first thing that came to mind? Are you wanting to carry the gun or use it as a target gun only? Have you ever shot a handgun before? The Model 60 is quite beefy.. there are a few smaller models of revolvers but it's easier to tell you about those once we know what you plan on doing with it. There are also plenty of semi-auto pistols in all sizes and calibers.

This is what i use. It's awesome and free. It'll do everything you want. Everything else blows and involves disabling firewalls, sending requests, finding out IP addresses, etc. Use logmein if you want the easiest way.

This site and tnspeed both forget I'm logged on all the time. Like you said, after about 5 minutes, I have to log in again. Even if I'm actively browsing. They are the only boards that do it. I've gotten used to it, just remember to copy/paste if you write a big post so it's not lost due to login error. Firefox/Windows XP. I've blamed Firefox for a while but since no other sites do it, I don't think that's the case. Oh well, it's no trouble to log back in, just a little annoying.

I carried an XD-45 for a year or so. I liked the 13+1 .45 ACP capacity. It was just too big, so I moved to a smaller Glock 36. Then to an even smaller J frame which is what I carry now.
