  1. I went to look at the pdf description of the match and got a website File Not Found error.  This is the link in question:  http://www.mctsclub.com/xxx.pdf   Thanks!
  2. Bought a new one last week.  Put 150 rounds of WWB, UMC, and Speer Gold Dot through it.  No problems, very accurate, does exactly what you'd expect it to do.   There are lots of gloom and doom threads on gun boards about Gen 4 G19's having malfunctions, and ejecting spent brass into the shooter's face.  These problems have either been fixed, or I got lucky (so far).
  3. I would go the other way, but I feel the microbrew market is saturated with chocolate ales already..
  4. I'm coming up with a million unsavory names for what he could call his beer once he bottles and sells it..
  5. After having read No Easy Day, and then watching this horrible piece of drama, I wish I had that two hours of my life back. So many factual errors compared to the book that there's no point even watching this if you haven't already. I imagine production started on this piece before No Easy Day was announced. Upon announcements that someone who was there firsthand with facts of the operation was writing the book, a huge "ah, ####" was likely breathed by the Hollywood production team.
  6. I have 9. I could justify 50. Eventually I may get there, but for now, I'm happy with what I have. I don't care if people think that is hoarding or not.
  7. Ah, what do you know? You can't even fix your own car!
  8. I've thought these exact same things with both other people's guns and ammunition. Unlikely that it would come back to cause you a problem, but still possible.
  9. DAMMIT, you had to go and post a Chive link. There goes a couple hours...
  10. Deleting my Facebook account 6 months ago was very liberating. Texts and emails from people "DID YOU BLOCK ME ON FACEBOOK?!??!?!" Good riddance. I can't wait until it's gone for good.
  11. Done. I do not have it, but I have a friend who was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps beacuse of Chron's and had to have major surgery to remove part of his small intestine. One amazing thing I did not know until recently is that Pearl Jam's guitarist, Mike McCready, has suffered with Chron's his entiring touring career. Link to an article about it: http://www.foxnews.c...crohns-disease/ Good luck to your sister!
  12. TWC Senior Meteorologist Stu Ostro (Twitter | Facebook) said: "History is being written as an extreme weather event continues to unfold, one which will occupy a place in the annals of weather history as one of the most extraordinary to have affected the United States." "This is an extraordinary situation, and I am not prone to hyperbole."
  13. This is an important topic for me. I live in Mt. Juliet (not in city limits but still in a suburban neighborhood) so of course I can't shoot here. In the next 5 years I see myself moving to either Cheatham, Robertson, or Sumner counties. It might increase my drive to work which is in downtown Nashville by 30 minutes or so each way per day, but I really want a place with enough land to shoot on, ride four wheelers on, fly RC planes on, have a large (huge ) shop with a lift for my car hobby, etc. Not to mention with that land comes the ability to be able to have several large gardens and some animals, and become more self-sustained. It's moved from a dream to a goal, so I am working through my plan to achieve that goal. I'm going to look for at least 10 acres.. hopefully with an acceptable house. If not that, I'll have to build which would probably take several more years. Cliffs notes: I want at least 10 acres
  14. I guess everything had to start somewhere
  15. It wasn't a break, unless you consider knee ligaments being torn apart as breaking.
  16. It looked to me like his knee came apart.
  17. AMC can now cancel their upcoming planned series, "#### DISH!"
  18. I am. It's worth paying for the highest service due to the towing service you get. Some of the lesser plans only get you a few mile tow and then it's $5 a mile after that. The locksmith service is nice. So are the rental car discounts. It's good insurance.
  19. ^ This is as close as I can come to that:
  20. Great thread. Full time IT guy. Part time bass player.
  21. Haha.. I had no idea Walmart was selling the same Sig (M400 Enhanced) I bought until tonight. I found it on Gunbroker. It worked out after shipping/FLL to be about the same amount as I would have paid had I bought it at Walmart, and I'd much rather give a gun store my money instead of Walmart. Therefore I am happy
  22. Everyone loves his eyes, myself included. Actually, he came to me as a stray kitten. About two years I was at a bonfire at my friend's house, and this cat strolls out of the woods to where we were that night. He was flea-ridden, skinny, and filthy. I took him home that night and spent two weeks with tweezers and flea baths cleaning him up. During my research though I have found out that he is a Turkish Angora, which yes can be expensive if you get one from a breeder.
