I've had a K40 since 1996 and haven't had any problem with it. It was carried daily for several years but doesn't get much range time. I've never had to use their customer service. Over a lot of years with handguns, my preference changed from revolvers to 1911. I have several other pistols but most often choose a 1911 to carry or shoot at the range.
