  1. Glock 19......it's almost perfect for size, capacity, RELIABILITY, and they are affordable too. Steer clear of the Walther. Much better choices out there. You could check out the S&W M&P compact as well. Or you can't go wrong with the Springfield XD line either.
  2. And I wish I was David so I could just ban Strel permanently
  3. took me about 2 seconds......i give strel about 2 days
  4. I have one that's woodland camo, steel ball in side. bought it at Green's Military for like $9
  5. that is awesome!! I 2 was wondering what he was shooting. It looks like a Mark ll but it's louder and the recoil looks stronger. you should be a proud Dad!! props to you for teaching your kid at such an early age.
  6. I was thinking Glock23forME or GGP2JZ??? whatever the heck his name is!!!!
  7. Funny that you mention that Mike, I actually have to be very careful where I surf TGO on campus. I don't want an of the sheeple students calling me in to UT police. Actually met a friend while shopping for holsters one day in class, turns out he is a gun guy too and was peeping over my shoulder at my laptop....now I'm more careful.
  8. no mike, Ken was taping while I did the shooting....don't you see the resemblance??
  9. thanks a lot, I'm in the library and just had everyone stare at me while I was laughing....
  10. I agree with Mike.....if it's anthrax run like hell though......if it's weed......well I guess you'll have plenty of $$ in the future
  11. blow dryer and a razor.....it's a pain in the a$$ but it will do the job. Set aside a couple hours to do it though.
  12. It took me a while to figure it out as well. When you go to send a message there is a box on the bottom of the page that you have to check. It's near the "submit message" button
  13. I know it's %35 on the front windows, but the back windows can be as dark as you want, correct?? I have %15 on all my windows, it is black!! Day or night you cannot see inside my car. I have never had an officer mention it when I've been stopped.
  14. Kegger, much respect for posting this. Always a good reminder. I've been shooting less than a year and back when I first started I screwed up bad!!!! .380 in my bedroom wall. That was a huge wakeup call for me. Glad you're ok man
  15. Welcome Agave, we actually spoke recently via PM at Defensivecarry. Glad to see you on TGO as well
  16. OS I knew you'd come through for us!
  17. I just want to say that I've been mostly a spectator on this thread but I would like to add that it could be one of the most off topic, dare I say epic, threads I have seen in a long time. 372 posts!! Thanks to the many members who have made it interesting. Mainly Jamie and Strel...... Strel's posts are like a word scramble with little to no meaning and Jamie's are just hilarious. Thanks again for keeping us entertained!
  18. Mike I've seen your fanny pack. It's actually quite fashionable I'm sure there will come a time when I tote the fanny pack as well. Hopefully by then I will be able to afford a Kimber too! For those that are wondering what Mike looks like. Here he is in the middle of the picture. ****PICTURE REMOVED BY MOD BECAUSE OF LANGUAGE**** and just for kicks(no pun intended)
  19. Pepper spray is pretty common on campus. Just about every girl I know has it on their key chain. I know knives are off limits. OhShoot is pretty handy when it comes to looking up laws, I'm sure he'll chime in. Basically I think the law says no weapons on campus with the intent to go armed... There is a lot of grey area there.
