  1. glad we heard from you old man! now, can we all meet up saturday AM?
  2. Very nice! I have a gen 3 19 but my hands are on the smaller size so the 4th gen is very appealing. I too have also seen mixed reviews on the gen 4 so please let us know how she does at the range!!!
  3. Garufa, that might be the funniest thing I've heard in a while.
  4. pretty sure you will always have job security in Memphis! :;
  5. I just can't understand how people keep doing this. I understand your reaction time slows as you get older but how do you mistake the gas for the brake. And I'm sure she thought she was in reverse but how in the world did she not hit the brake as soon as the car started moving forward? What's crazy is that I eat at this Nixon's at least once a week and I sit in the very booth that she crashed into.
  6. I've been there and they do have good prices but a very small selection of handguns. The store was so cluttered when I was there that it was hard to walk around. Gear and junk scattered all over the place. With just a little effort they could have a really nice place. The 2 old guys were not exactly friendly either, I was just waiting for them to say "you ain't from around here is you boy"?
  7. Bubba, I'll go with ya sometime soon. I was there a few weeks ago. I'm free next monday afternoon probably. I get off work around 3
  8. best of luck to you and yours. Hopefully one day soon you can return to this great state! Please stay in touch
  9. Can't go wrong with a Tenacious. I bought mine on Amazon and it's my EDC. Great knife. I took it to the gun show a few months ago and had it sharpened, it's now REALLY sharp!
  10. Norm, I have a Cold Steel Recon 1 for sale in the classifieds. But if that doesn't interest you then you could always check out the Smokey Mtn Knife store in Sevierville. I know that's a drive but that place is worth it. I think their prices are a little high though. In K-town I have not seen many places that sell Spyderco's. Green's military sells knives but their prices are high too. I bought my last spyderco on Amazon and they had the best price by far. Believe it or not, Wal-Mart actually has some good deals on Kershaw knives. Hope this helps. And I sent you a PM as well
  11. yep Glocks are pretty sweet. My G19 rarely leaves my hip and the more I shoot it the more I like it!
  12. I had one of these as well. I sold it to my dad though and it's his favorite gun. I hated shooting it though. When I shot it, some crap(don't know what) would come back and hit you in the face. I don't know if it's because of the open muzzle or what but it was really annoying.
  13. I have been having issues with my p238 so I picked up a Ruger LCR last week. I lost 2 bullets in doing so but at least now I know my gun will be far less likely to malfunction than my Sig. I do love the simplicity of a wheel gun. The LCR is by no means a range gun but it's very concealable and light.
  14. What part of norris lake are you visiting. We have a house on the upper end in campbell county. As far as good BBQ I would try vernons bar and grill. Its only a few miles off I-40
  15. perhaps this is why I never heard back from you Hipower. I sent you a PM about 2 weeks ago.
  16. I find myself unable to stop watching....
  17. I'm confused. You seem excited but why the mad face emoticon?
  18. They are indeed good guys. I bought my first gun from them last fall. I'm excited to see the new store and especially the new range.
  19. I understand the Gun buster sign is now legal posting but what about a hand written "no guns allowed" sign?
