Took mine at Gunny's.....wouldn't recommend it. I hear good things about the KCSO course. There is a long wait but I hear it's worth it.

I love my p238 but I sometimes wonder if it's impractical for pocket carry. It has to be carried "cocked n locked" and it takes a lot of practice before you can quickly draw from a pocket and drop the safety. During an emergency situation I find my self wondering if I will be able to do this. That being said, unless you don't mind a lot of practice I would look at the Kahr. Ammo is easier to find and cheaper too.

A good belt makes all the difference. I have been wearing a gun belt for a couple months now. The finish doesn't hold up great but no one ever sees it. I bought this one because I didn't feel like spending a ton of $$$$$$. Amish Work Belts - Brown I also hear the belt man makes great belts if you don't care about price.

Sorry, I moved the clips one notch so that the holster sits lower in my......pants.

I lowered mine 1 notch. Helped me conceal it more.

I really liked my Taurus 24/7 so I'm not a Taurus hater, but I shot the 709 recently and it just wasn't for me. I really like my p238 for pocket carry but ammo is impossible to find or just way overpriced. There are a lot of trade offs involved

Same here. Bummer

because I don't want to be standing in front of a DA explaining why I shot a guy when I could have gotten away from the threat. I'm just saying that if I have a way out of the situation I'm going to take it. Shooting is the last resort.
