understandable, I don't have any ill-will towards the workers, I just think some of the questions they ask are a little personal. I realize this is completely out of their hands though, they will be give a warm welcome at my house assuming I can read their ID tag.

ya I don't know what I said that made him so sensitive, maybe he is a census worker himself? It was just a friendly heads up for everyone on here. As I said, the census worker I met was very polite, he had an ID badge, and he did NOT ask to come inside. Overall a good experience. And he told me most of the people he had interviewed were very polite to him as well.
