  1. Don't be afraid. Mine is digital rainbow camo. Not the least bit gay...
  2. One of the (few) reasons I wouldn't want to leave Memphis. Man, we have some great BBQ!
  3. Well, my evening has started with a lil PBR...
  4. That's just messed up. I think I'd try finding a company that wants my business...
  5. Shoot yeah. I picked one up a few months ago and that thing is TOUGH.
  6. Haha. No, sold that one shortly thereafter for $725. She was a nice one. I was expecting an offer around $500 to $550. I was there wanting to buy a different gun. They could have sold mine for about $150 to $200 profit and made the money off the gun I was there wanting to buy. Instead, they lost out on both deals because they're just plain greedy. So eff 'em. I take my business elsewhere 98% of the time. The guys at Classic Arms, Arms Fair, Range USA, etc love having my business. Magic has been quiet on this one...
  7. You leave my fanny pack ALONE!!!

    Death From Above

Anybody have an idea of how far out those choppers can operate effectively? I figure it has to be pretty far out when you look at how large the "grouping" is when they're firing the cannons. In some of the clips, you can see them annihilating a 70 to 80 square foot area...
  9. Yeah, their prices are a lot lower than any other FMJ's I've seen. I have purchased some Armscor FMJ bullets at decent prices, but the Precision Delta stuff is still cheaper by about $20 per 1,000. I was hesitant, though, because of their 2k minimum order requirement. Hate to buy that much of anything without trying it out first.
  10. I'm rather curious myself...

    Death From Above

At about 1:30 into the video, the group of insurgents actually run into the bomb! Silly terrorists...
  12. I've got a Lee reloading press in the classifieds. Wink, wink... There's no better feeling than putting 50 rounds of 45 downrange for less than $5.
  13. Yes. And being fair to customers is one way of remaining in business. Obviously the customer who traded the guns doesn't know what they're worth. Should he learn more about guns and want to buy more of them, he'll likely learn what his guns were worth and go elsewhere to buy next time. Well, if more gun stores would be fair, more people would be likely to try and trade their old guns in on new ones. I understand that it's a business and they have to make money. However, giving someone $80 for a $500 gun is not right. I offered an H&K USP 45 to the guys at Guns & Ammo on Summer Ave a few years ago. I expected to get an offer for a good bit less than they'd sell it for. They offered me $100. Wanna guess how many of the last 25 guns I bought were purchased there? One. Unless I just absolutely cannot find a gun anywhere else, I don't step foot in there. Whether it's buying from a customer, selling to a customer, or standing behind your product, ripping customers off will cost you business.
  14. Sadly, I think they're playing catch-up to everyone else who sells ammo. I went to Bass Pro last night and browsed through the ammo selection. Looked like someone got drunk and went crazy with the price gun. Glad I reload!
  15. Ahh. I gotta keep reminding myself that White House is a town in Tennessee. My first thought was "WHAT?!?!"...
  16. I gotta agree with db. There are a few flavors from south of the border that I prefer a little lime in. Of course, you have to squeeze the lime into the beer, then quickly destroy the evidence so you don't catch crap...
  17. I've never ordered ammo from Midway. I can almost always find a better deal elsewhere on the net. But when it comes to other accessories and parts, they have always been top notch. Like with any other company, I have experienced longer than expected delays on backordered items, but that's going to be out of their control, too.
  18. Pretty bad*ss!
  19. I got a work email today with TCA changes listed. Found this one. Thought it might be of interest to some of you dang criminals. http://www.state.tn.us/sos/acts/106/pub/pc0953.pdf Basically, it makes it illegal to use a scanner or any other radio to commit crimes, evade law enforcement, yadda yadda...
  20. It hasn't yet...
  21. That's interesting. I found this on the Berrys website when I first started using their bullets: I've been basically "splitting the difference" between lead and jacketed starting recipes. For example, if lead called for me to start at 5.0gr and jacketed called for me to start at 6.0gr, I'd start loading somewhere around 5.4gr~5.5gr. So far, it's worked fine for me. I don't have a chrono, but the loads feel right. No obvious signs of excessive pressures.
