  1. If you are getting less than 100 and it shoots, it is usually worth keeping. I just bought a P3AT and so far I am pretty happy with it.
  2. One of the pains with a subcompact is that if you want the extended mag you have to buy a boot which adds abother 10. So this package would really normally cost 70, not counting the mag pouch just because it does not count for much.
  3. I do not know a lot about the rossi, but i do know everyone i have talked to said stay away from the charter. Also, everyone I know that carries a .357 has ended up with the ruger sp101 snub. But for carry I have been happier carrying my xd subcompact .40 and the ruger stays in the glove box.
  4. I have an MTAC on the way for my XD and i own a P3AT for pocket carry, but i still have a lot of clothes that either the waist is just right so the MTAC will not fit and several of those do not hide the kel-tec well, so i wsa curious if anyone had any idea on ankle holsters or ankle carry in general. The guns I have that I am interested in possibly using for ankle carry are an XD SC .40 or a ruger sp101. The concern I have is weight and something I do not have to worry about it falling out.
  5. For me it is definitely an AR-15 and then a .45 (I am torn on which .45 I want)
  6. I ordered my MTAC on Thursday for my XD and they shipped it Friday and I am dying for it to get here so I can try it out.
  7. I really appreciate this post. I have been needing more mags and this was a sweet deal. I just bought the last .40 3" set that pistol gear had. Thanks again ZZR
  8. I actually own a Ruger SP101 .357 Mag. I bought because I was told it was a good pocket gun. I think if you wear MC Hammer pants it might work, but other than that it has not worked out well for me that way. I actually ended up buying a .380 kel-tec for my pocket gun. But I kept the Ruger because I loved it and still carry it in jackets with deep pockets or cargo shorts. My wife has a S&W .38 special and she loves it. It is very light and I have always been pleased with the way it shoots.
  9. It is nice to be in touch with more people who love and enjoy our constitutional rights which several idiots, that somehow keep getting elected even though they are obvious criminals and deviants, want to take away from us so we can all become nice little socialists. I just recently received my gun permit in the mail, and for anyone waiting on theirs, after you have waited 60 days cal the department of safety. I waited 90 days and called them and they said "Oh the computer just did not issue it so we will issue ut today." If I had not called i would have been waiting indefinitely. My current toys: Springfield XD .40 Sub-Compact Ruger SP101 .357 Steyr M-9 (which I am looking to trade very soon for a new rifle) Steyr S-9 S & W .38 Special Bulldog Kel-Tec .380 Remington 870 HD 12g Charles Daly 20g Savage Arms .17 HMR with a beautiful wood stock with the NRA logo engraved in it (which I bought at the Friends o the NRA benefit dinner)
