Season 1 is on dvd and then all of season 2 is online. I was referring to ravenwood. I loved the 4 guys with glocks verse a deaf girl with a shotty, other than the ultimate outcome of course.

Hello David, from another Spring Hill dweller. Are you a member at Owl Hollow? Good luck on the AKs, I have thought about getting into those, but so far all of money is in pistols, ARs, and remington rifles. If I add another now my wife may have her friends Smith and Wesson visit me.

That is hilarious. I am not sure if anyone watches the show "Jericho", which rocks, but I noticed last week that all of the bad guys carry glocks and the good guys all use Berettas and 1911s. Are they trying to tell us something?

Boondock Saints ROCKS. I have to watch that movie at least 4 times a year.

The new Rambo was the best movie I have seen in a long time. The Brave One, We Own the Night, Death Sentence, and Awake were all really good. History of Violence would have been good if it had not turned out to be more of a soft core porn film. Also, I really liked the movie war with Jet Li and Jason Statham.

I would give the Rabbi a PM or call. If you are looking for it new, he will give you the best price.

I haver been in there many times myself since it is between my house and work. I have bought 3 guns from them, but they are pricey, but do have a great inventory. If you are looking for the best price in town you need to go to the Rabbi. I bought my Kel-tec P3AT from Franklin and then saw the same thing 2 weeks later during my first visit to the Rabbi for $80 cheaper. i bought a used Remington 7400 from the Rabbi and then saw one at Franklin a couple months later in the same condition with a cheaper scope than the one I got from Rabbi for $200 more. So, if you want a huge selection in guns and accessories to buy on the spot Franklin is great and they have good customer service. If you want the best price as well as a non-salesman, down to Earth, honest approach then you should visit the Rabbi at Eastside. (I will be there next week to pick up my nice new SS Taurus PT1911 at a price that I could not find better anywhere on the Internet)

On the safety part, I have to say that I love my XD 40 SC the way it is and do not believe I would be very fond of the thumb safety myself, but it would not be a deal killer if I was going to buy one.

I own one and love it. It is my main carry gun and it is as accurate as can be expected from a 3" barrel. For a concealed carry gun it is hard to beat. I actually have a Tactical I have just ordered coming in early next week, but that is going to be for the range and to carry when i hunt or hike, when concealment does not really matter.
-
i do not want to know where the gun is concealed at.

It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I carry an XD 40 SubCompact in a comptec M-TAC holster. Easily concealed. The only problem i have had is most of my pants just fit, so i can only wear it with pants i have bought recently that are 1-2 inches bigger. For days i wear clothes that i can not fit it in I carry my Kel-Tec 380 in a pocket holster. With an extra mag or two in my pocket.

I never go anywhere without my gun, work included. Depending on dress for the day i either carry my XD 40 SC or my Kel-Tec P3AT

Actually, molonlabetn, I think you have clute mixed up with me, but I still echo his comments. I still love that tactical you have and can not wait to get my tactical in this week. This meet was a blast and i can not wait for the next one. I am still digging the 9mm AR pistol, I think that it popped up several times in my dreams last night. -
I carry the short mag in my XD 40 SC which is 9 in the mag and one in the hole and then have an extended mag on me as well which is an additional 11 rounds. with my steyr s9 I have 10 rounds of 9mm in the short mag and have a 14 rounder on me.

I love my XD 40 SubCompact and would not trade it for any other carry gun. Although I am considering getting a 45 Compact if a good deal rolls around on one.

I bought a RIA 1911 double stack at TN Gun Country back in January and was very pleased with the transaction and the gun. They were very friendly and had good prices and I will definitely purchase from them again.

Actually, the best thing you can do from a Financial Planning aspect would be to leave it the way you have it now with nothing being taken out and sent to the Feds. Then take one of last years returns and see how much you were paying and put that amount of money in a savings account every pay check. Then at the end of the year, if you have to pay some out, you will have it in that account. In the end, you will end up better off because you will, at the very least, have gained interest on that money.

I am looking forward to this and really want to make it since I could not make the February one because of my sister getting married. The only weekend that is really bad for me is Easter weekend.

I would echo the XD, I have been very pleased with it. Not to start the whole Glock argument again, but I definitely would not recommend for the first gun. You really should have something with safety features. But an XD is going to cost you a little over 400. If you are looking for a semi under 400, I would recomend a 9mm. My first semi was a Kel-tec and it was a good gun to learn with. Very simple and easy to break down and clean. As far as a revolver. I had a ruger sp101 that was recommended to me for carry by I am sure most everyone on here knows who. It was a nice gun and fun to shoot, but only someone the size of a gorilla could carry it concealed. My wife carries a S&W .38 special revolver that she loves. I have been very impressed with it, especially the accuracy you get from the small gun. I know Rabbi has them every once in a while for a good deal.

You really hang with a good crowd. Were they on different church softball teams with you?
