  1. That is awesome
  2. Thanks everyone.
  3. So, what do you guys think on the the older 91 model used FTF for 475 compared to recent model factory certified for 535 after it is all said and done.
  4. I just came across a more recent sig model from a shop online that is CPO for 500 even delivered. Since after paying someone off to receive it I would end up spending $60 more for a factory certified one, I am wondering if that might be a better route. The only other thing that gives me a little fear on pulling the trigger is I am wondering if i will later regret not getting a Beretta 92 instead. But, from what I have read, the sig is supposedly a better gun. Opinions?
  5. I can bring a decent size cooler of ice and big Costco pack of bottled water.
  6. I have the opportunity to pick up a used P226 that looks to be in very good condition with 2 15rd mags which was manufactured in 1991 for $475 FTF. I am trying to determine if that is really a good deal or not and if I will regret not getting a more recent model.
  7. I do not own a Sig, but i am really interested in buying a P226. I have come across some used ones that appear to be in good condition, but most of them were made in the 80's or early 90's. What is the different between these models and the current ones being produced. Visually, from pics, the only different appears to be a cooler grip, but i wanted to ask the experts.
  8. What kind of gun and what is the length of the barrel? I am carrying an XD 40 SubCompact with a 3" barrel.
  9. Are you maybe wearing it too low? On the clips you can adjust how low it is. On mine I have the Kydex going to the top of my pants so that there is not a chance of it catching on my pants, but i have a 33" waist so I am not sure how well that would work for others.
  10. Just don't sell it to anyone from New York. Remember, evil uncle Bloomb^%ch is watching.
  11. I agree completely. I loosened mine when I got and have never had a problem. I have been carrying one for 8 months and with practice I am pretty fast at drawing from it, with one hand. I still think they are the best IWB concealment holster on the market.
  12. LOL....That's an old joke. But the way I heard it years ago was Bill, Hillary, and Al Gore.
  13. It is really just everyone getting together and eating lunch and then going to the range together and shooting. The next one is the 22nd, I think, in Spring Hill at Owl Hollow Gun Club. They are a lot of fun.
  14. That is a beautiful sight. I have really been considering getting one, but I already have the tactical and subcompact in 40. I am curious as to how shooting it compares to the 40 tactical. Are you planning on coming to our meet and shoot? I would love to see your sweet gun in person?
  15. In my experience with TN and hunting, if you are hunting on land with a lot of trees with branches and brush 223 is not a very good round to hunt with. I have on a few occasions taken a shot at a deer with my ar to have the bullet hit a twig or some brush and miss the target. Which is why I only deer hunt now with 30-06. So, if you are looking to hunt anything of size with it, I would go with the 7.62.
  16. Someone had to post rap, even if it is a comedy. I originally saw this 6 years ago and about died laughing. [ame]http://youtube.com/watch?v=LUSDvJ0b-A4&feature=related[/ame]
  17. I agree with you Joe. I am a bargain hunter myself, but most people expect to pay dealer price or "internet" price and do not understand or care what is takes to run a business. If people constantly go in to shops to fondle the guns and then order off the Internet instead of from the shop, then the shop will eventually no longer be there.
  18. Everyone knows that if it is not a 1911 with a .45 you are just going to piss the bad guy off. If it is a 1911 shooting a .45 one shot will decapitate them, if it is a Colt their arms and legs will fall off as well.
  19. I thouhgt about a laser one time, but someone stressed to me that if I was in a situation in the dark and the bad guy did not know where I was, as soon as i turned that laser on he would know exactly where I was. I did not think about this much again until i started playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and a lot of people equip lasers on their guns in that game online, and I can find them from across the map just by following the nice convenient red line.
  20. Fixed with different videos to the same songs.
  21. This is a song that always hits me, because it makes me think about my childhood and what I do not want to repeat as a father. [ame]http://youtube.com/watch?v=NfjIsCCJOWQ[/ame] I learned you can not link to the real video so here is a nice band of brothers montage.
  22. You always have the classic remake of this great song. - I did not realize that they would not let you link a real video, so I found this even more interesteing version. [ame] [/ame]
  23. Congratulations man. I believe that makes you the youngest one there by a century. LOL. That is awesome. I am going to try to get out there for a little bit Wednesday afternoon, let me know if you are going to be around. My Steyr has been feeling neglected since I have only been shooting my XDs lately.
  24. To shoot at OHGC, you either have to be a member or be the guest of a member. Hunter and I are both members and will be there so you can attend as one of our guests and pay the guest fee which is $5.
