  1. Doesn't really bother me. If a man gets his jollies by looking at another man's hairy butt and he says to himself, "Oh snap, I've gotta get a piece of that.", so be it. More power to him. The only time I have a problem with some in the gay community is when they try to force their viewpoint upon me and demand that I accept it. I don't hold this viewpoint just towards the gay community but to any group that tries to force or coerce me into accepting their views.
  2. You are getting close Chuck. If you would cut off about a 1/4 from the bottom and make the shorts a lot looser then you would have it.
  3. I had thought about that. I was wondering if she was advertising. Guess it would give new meaning to the phrase "bargain bin shopping."
  4. As I was driving home from work this evening I stopped at one of our local convenience stores. I walked up to the counter to pay for my items. In front of me was a woman wearing the shortest shorts I have ever seen. From the lower to middle ass cheek was clearly visible to all who would care to take notice. Normally I wouldn't mind such a display, but in this case I was rather disturbed. The woman was not built well at all. To be down right honest she was quite nasty. So here I am standing behind a woman with nasty ass cheeks on display for all. All of the sudden I guess she got an itch and went to scratching. Now her entire ass cheek on display. I am trying not to look, but heck you can't help from seeing it. It is right in front of you with all its sagginess. My question. What is it about some people with considerably less than a flattering anatomy feel like they have to overly display themselves in public? I understand that people should be comfortable with themselves. But sheesh, are some deluding themselves with positive reinforcement by standing in front of a mirror repeating, "Damn, I'm so hot."?
  5. I prefer to carry a full size gun. I usually flip-flop around with the guns I carry. I might carry my Five-Seven, my Wilson CQB, or my Nighthawk T3 (not really full size, but close enough). I can shoot a full size gun better and I am more accurate. The one full size handgun that I own and will not carry is my Sig P226 X5 L1. I wanted to carry it since it is by far my most accurate handgun. However, it is just way too big for my frame, and it weighs a ton with a full mag. I tried carrying it once and I felt like one of those twits who wears their jeans around their kneecaps.
  6. I think this entire story is nothing but a pant load. The whole thing stinks. You have the left and media running around claiming that this jerkweed is endangering our troops and other peoples lives. Oh really? I absolutely love how the left and media are so concerned about our troops now. Back in 2007, Speaker Pelosi was pushing forth a resolution against the Aremenian genocide that occured almost a century ago. Everyone knew that this was nothing more than a partisan political attack that would have certainly brought harm to our troops and weakened our military campaign. Where was the outcry from the media and all the bleeding hearts then? Or what about when Pelosi and her ilk decided to visit Syria and work out their own foreign policy? Not much was said about that one. You had congressman Murtha say that our troops overreacted and killed in cold blood. Deafening silence. Senator Kerry said troops were terrorizing women in children in the dead of night. Hmmm, pretty quiet on that one as well. Senate leader Reid claimed the war was lost. Talk about boosting the morale of your enemy. And the best for last. Senator Obama claiming our troops are doing nothing but air raiding villages and killing civilians. I could go on and on. All of the above show the statist-left's concern is for nothing more than themselves and their power. Now you have some jackass that releases a bunch of "classified" (not top secret) documents that show diplomats doing and saying things they ought not to be. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone what this Assange has done at all, and I believe the military person that supplied him with the documents should be prosecuted. However, I think what we are seeing in the media is nothing more than a diversionary tactic of shifting all the blame on Assange instead of forcing the diplomats, who made the comments, to own up to what they said. If this happened in the private sector, more than likely they would have been fired. This has basically become a c.y.a. situation. I am sick of all the feigned moral indignation that I am seeing in the media and from the administration over this story. Where the hell were they, and where was all of this outrage when crap was being said and done that was millions of times worse? As a final note, if this Assange fellow had leaked "top secret" or highly classified documents I would have him shot and so would our government.
  7. You guys should be really ashamed of yourselves. You ought to be more respectful towards President Candyass.
  8. Very nice. I have one just like it except mine isn't a tanto.
  9. I was reading the thread on the movie, "The Road" and I was thinking what would you do if there was a complete breakdown of society. Scenario: Federal and state governments have collapsed. All of the prisons are empty. There are no utilities, and all social services have ceased etc... Since most of the shops have been looted and there is no means of exchange outside of bartering, businesses have closed. We are talking about pandemonium on a biblical scale. Lets say you are an avid reader of TGO and you have prepared for such a scenario. You have stocked up on enough water, MREs, etc... to last a year. Do you fortify your position and try to protect what you have stockpiled or do you pack up what you can and head for the mountains or the deep backwoods? Remember, most people have not prepared like you have and any word that might get out that you are sitting on a stockpile then you become a target for criminals even neighbors. How would you protect what you have? Would you interact with your neighbors? If you decide to leave, do you try to contact local friends and family to get them to go with you, or will it be just you and your household? Will you avoid other people after your exodus, or try to find like-minded individuals and form a commune until all the s**t is over? Are you a sole survivor or do you believe strength in numbers? What type of weapons do you take with you? Handgun, rifle, shotgun, bow? How much ammo do you take? How much food and water (5 gallons of water is roughly 40 lbs.)?Keep in mind that when you run out of gas there is no more. You will be walking, so you can't load up 500 lbs of gear and expect to make it. Will you pack a tent or do you plan on making your own shelter? I know the "what-if" scenarios are sort of ridiculous, but it has been a slow posting day and I find it interesting and enjoyable to read people's responses.
  10. As you are driving down I-24, I would first stop at The Outpost Armory. Next stop would be Hero Gear. After those two, I wouldn't bother stopping anywhere else until you get into Marietta/Atlanta.
  11. Your comments really didn't bother me. Personally, I couldn't care less, but that is just me. I doubt I will ever buy a gun from you, not because of what has been said, but mainly you are too far from me and there are several vendors closer that I know and like. To rectify the problem you have created with your very poor choice of words, you might consider a 10% discount to TGO members. A nice way to bury the hatchet.
  12. Don't know about the Lebanon show, but I did drive up to Knoxville today to the Chilhowee show. I was looking for one thing and didn't find it. Outside of that, I thought it was a good show. Certainly a lot better than what we have been having locally. I was wondering whether there were a lot of people at the Lebanon show. I know the last time I went to Chilhowee, it was packed and you couldn't hardly find a place to park. Today, it was no problem. It was packed with vendors, but not a lot of people.
  13. Very nice. I was reading how good the trigger is supposed to be on those. Got to try it yet? I would like to know.
  14. I am very surprised that the media didn't go all orgasmic talking about tough Obama was to take such a shot.
  15. I watched The Road about a year ago. Didn't really care for it. I must have missed something in the movie since I didn't catch the meaning of showing someone with their thumb.
  16. Everyone here is a tax cheat? Does that mean we have a future Treasury Secretary in our midst?
  17. Well... I have a cheap universal cleaning kit that I paid like $40 for as well as an Otis professional kit. Believe it or not, I use the el cheapo cleaning kit most of the time. I use it with Breakfree CLP and a Hoppes lubricant and a couple of picks and gun brushes. It works great.

    Looking to buy an AR15

That was the primary reason I bought the dea configuration of the LWRC M6a2. I'm not very knowledgable about rifles, but I did quite a bit of research before finally making my decision on the rifle I wanted. Doesn't LWRC rank in the top tier of ARs as well? I know that a lot of money spent doesn't always mean you get quality product, but I did drop a chunk of change for my rifle.
  19. I did find this link which I have been going over this morning, Tennessee charities guide find a charity to donate or volunteer for child elderly homeless organizations and more.. While the total amount donated is a little discouraging, any amount that is sent to a good charity is a wonderful thing and should be commended. I would like to thank everyone who participated. May you all be blessed for your contribution. A special thanks to brooksjr for administrating the PIF.
  20. Any special plans for Thanksgiving and the upcoming weekend? I will probably sleep late and then head over to my sister's house for dinner. As far as the weekend goes, I will not be one of those who is fighting other people to get the latest "made in China" goods. It does make for entertaining news watching though.
  21. My Sig P226 X5 L1. It makes everyone look like a crack shot. Next in line is either my Wilson CQB or my Ruger Mark III Hunter.
