Taking wife to the range for the first time.. tips?
~Emily~ replied to TNTitan's topic in Women's Perspectives
Yes, these are wonderful! I have a bunch of individually wrapped wet wipes in my range bag and some in my camera bag as well. -
I love my Beretta's but I also love this little jewel. Here it is a man's hand, to show size. Here is a size comparison to a Beretta Cheetah. Purdy, ain't it. I cannot wait to sacrifice some of my .380 ammo and play with it.

Another vote for the Sig, but I've only shot the 229 in 40. It is a dream. See it here: http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=8&productid=63

Yes, I had one of these. The trigger pull lasts forever but I could deal with that. I had an issue with putting the thang back together after cleaning. I usually don't mind cleaning a gun but the Taurus PT111 was truly a PITA to reassemble.

No spiffy tools but here are my keys:

I purchase machines for my company and recently had a request for a laptop/notebook with a serial port. My vendor sales rep works with all brands and he, nor I could not find any brand with a serial port. Not a new one at any rate. If your device won't work with a usb-to-serial adapter the only other option is to use a port replicator or docking station that has a serial port. And so far most brands have XP available on their "business" notebooks. That could have changed but my company uses XP sp3 on 99% of our machines, desktops and laptops. Vista is a version we will skip (like 98). But Win 7 looks promising.

April 15, 2003 was the last cigarette for me. Then I was diagnosed with diabetes. And take a read at this thread: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/6759-any-quitters-here.html.

Good to know. I'd like to visit all TN zoos eventually. I am a member at the Nashville Zoo (growing all the time) and they have reciprocity with a lot of zoos, including all in TN. I've been to the Memphis zoo and I like some of their exhibits better and some of Nashville's better. I really need to get to Chattanooga's and Knoxville's. Btw, go to http://www.nashvillezoo.org/index.asp to see the new Clouded Leopard babies playing on the zoo's home page.

Anyone been to the Chattanooga zoo? (Not talking about the aquarium.)

New web site for the Mid-South Guns & Gear Expo ... Feedback wanted

Great photos, with wonderful lighting! -
The middle folks generally believe in some right views, some left views, but not all of either side. LOL! Nah, if you use a Bluetooth headset for your cell phone it just turns your head a little bluish color.

"Active Law Enforcement (with ID) $5.00" Does that include correctional officers? Most place that give LEOs a discount also give one to correctional officers. (No, I'm not one.) -
Folks who have the attention span of a bird so they are intimidated by a bit of reading.

I agree with the following: And people that don't clean up an email before forwarding so it has 5, 10, 20 of the previous posters' "To:" list and forwarding lines to the left. Geez, it isn't that hard to clean up. Stop being lazy. I hate it when people use too many abbreviations when typing in an email with a full sized keyboard. Lazy, lazy. And: Bigots of any kind. And: Extreme conservatists and liberalists that don't realized there are literally millions of people in the middle. Not everything is cut and dry one way or the other. And: People who talk on the phone in their car without a headset. Who WANTS to talk on the friggin phone that much anyway? And: Retail stores, like gun/arms stores, that don't have a web site with lots of information. And: People who spit.

Also good to know.

And where did you get your new Atwood Prybaby Titanium?

That place looks perfect! How about a description or shots of the parking lot? -
That's good to know. I'm a woman and a geezer and still consider myself a novice, even though I've been shooting for several years. I took the HCP class from Todd and Dustin last year and am really interested in the Advanced Concealed Carry class. Will probably do it next year. I will bring my cane! (kidding)

So what did you find out? I've been looking for a Sphinx AT 380 M for quite a while.

This was taken a few years ago. They're always sucking all the water out of my bird bath.

LOL! Then would you care if these walking hormones with pimples pointed at your truck and said "that's so gay"?

This is a fabulous idea! And I agree with most of the previously mentioned dislikes, too. But I'd like to add besides wider aisles more ventilation would help. And my biggest pet peev is the price of entry. 8$, 10$??? That is way too much in my opinion. I know the gate price helps with the expenses but you asked us to list what we didn't like.
