Actually....to me that could be a positive outcome. The judge rule the law void for vaugness, the legislature come back and make having an HCP and exemption for places that serve alcohol period, not just restaurants. No vaugness there........

I was among those at the orginal hearing. It seems they have abandoned all their arguments excpet that the law is too vauge and therefore it should be voided. Basically the average person can not know what is a restaurant per the law and could violate without intending to.

I hope she has to pay. I think if the loser always had to pay in these lawsuits there would be far fewer frivilous ones.

LOL...that is how I started. Sent them a question about how the new law would affect handgun carry, because of what was said on their website. Hopefully they will update it soon. But at least we know.

Unfortunately the more I've kept up with politics the more I have seen the truth skewed or half-used. A HCP holder could be murdered by some thug and your liable to see a headline or a statement "Handgun Carry Permit holder involved in murder" I mean that statement is technically correct, but far from telling what actually happened.

Hmmmm...you may be right. I swear when I first looked at it I thought he had said "will not allow" instead of "will now allow" The reason I thought that is, the bill that would have allowed you to be armed while bow hunting, did not pass. The main thing for you is your comfort level, so if that is what you want to do, then do it. The range portion of the safety course is fairly easy even for those that have never handled a handgun. Also nothing says you can't continue training after you get your HCP, or that you have to carry after you get your HCP if you wanted to get it now and wait till you were comfortable before you carried everyday. While all the training you can do is good, not sure I'd wait till I qualified for an expert badge before I got my permit or carried.

Had some of that a couple of weeks ago, it wasn't bad. But I paid nearly $9.00 for the six-pack, bough the 12-pack of Natural Ice tonight for less than $8.00. Just not good enough for the price difference to me. But if you ever offer me one....I'll sure take it.

I guess some may. To be honest, I have never really bought the "improperly posted" sign as an attempt by the owner to satisfy the sheeple, but allow legal carry. 99.9999999999% of the time I think it is just an ignorance of the law on the part of the owner.

Just plain old Natural Ice in a can tonight. Been out on the bike most of the day and am hot and tired....rotating cans through the freezer before drinking them.....and it taste very good...and cold.
