  4. Are you hiring? I could use a job like that.
  5. I am in. Be fun to go pop some caps. No new toys just getting reacquinted with old ones.
  6. in 1997 I built one for a Metro SWAT officer in Nashville. He wanted it to use an entry gun. It had the tube folding stock, I shortened the tube portion so it was not too long when he used it with hard armor. Also shortened the barrel and silver soldered on a flash hider. It was a sweet little carbine. I only fired one magazine through it after wards to function test it but it shot great. I do not know what happened to it. It may still be in use. So I guess it was reliable and sturdy enough for him
  7. I have always wanted to go on a hog hunt. In TN are they considered a game animal or a nuisance/ pest? Where in the state can they be hunted? Is a .308 enough gun?
  8. How many of those that are dependant on the government have the means and fortitude to take on the 3%
  9. I think the basketball story is a cover up. I think he spoke back to Michelle and she popped him one. Since it doesn't do for the POTUS to get a beat down from his wife they made up the basketball story
  10. Why not airsoft? More realistic guns. There are several places around the state we could run a game at. I know of several fields that could be used. From outdoors village style. To an indoor QCB warehouse

  12. Just a few thoughts on the 11/28/20010 episode Was any one else disappointed that Jim got bit? It really seems to me that they are just going to be setting up the next 13 episodes in this and next weeks episodes. The whole CDC thing was an interesting twist. It looks like there would be guns and ammo laying around from where the grunts got over run. I want to know how much savaging they do. Since it takes place in the south there should be a Wal-mart in every town. There is always 12 gauge ammo in a Wal-mart. Final thought I think the ultimate zombie killer would be a .22 semi auto rifle with a red dot and a suppressor. Accurate enough for brain shots and a .22 tends to bounce around inside of the skull doing more brain damage. Brain damage=dead zombie. A suppressor would help keep more of the undead from locating you by the sound of gunshots. Of course at close range nothing beats a good old fashioned 870. I wonder if it were loaded with game loads of size 7 shot if it would be enough to kill a zombie at 10 yards or less? I have a few hundred rounds of that on hand. Upside down flag sign of distress. I think they are definitely in distress.

  15. There aren't z's around... yet. However I still like to avoid big cities even Nashville is getting too big for me.
  16. Yeah that did not add much to the plot. I think it is interesting that the show the z's using tools and being able to do limited problem solving. I did not read the graphic novels the show is based on, but have never thought they could use tools and problem solve
