Where are you in TN? I think I have a book at home with detailed breakdown instructions and pictures. I am south of nashville and work in brentwood.Remember to take out the bolt return spring before trying to pull the bolt. To do that you need to pull the stock. Also becareful with the sear and trigger. Make sure it goes back together in the same configuration as it was when you take it out. They are neat old guns. One time I was cleaning one and the back of the receiver was full of feathers and mud but it still shoot

Personal example I took a constituional law class that was a requirement. However it was taught by a marxist maoisy communist. The prof was extremely biased and anti American. He was a libtard from the peoples republic of Commiefornia.I don't believe he was fair or objective. If you disagreed with him you were ridiculed and treated with derision. The prof was tenured so he was untouchable and arrogant as hell

I went to the Reloaders Bench and they did not have any. The guys were very helpful though. I ended up getting some 185 grain just to load some target rounds. Does any one know of any place in Middle Tn that has 240 grain TCMJ, truncated cone metal jacket? I used to load these and lead truncated cone but I haven't found any recently. I am thinking I need to start casting lead bullets since I could not even find any of those

I like mine. I have several hundred rounds of .22lr through it and about 200 rounds of 5.56. Pretty good trigger for an AR15. I have an upper from JSE surplus on it, DTI 18 inch 1:8 hbar. I think It is going to be a very good shooter

Well I finally have it to a usable state I used Brownell's Oxpho-Blue paste to blue it. I bought an XS Sight system Clifton style scout rail and epoxied it to the barrel. I still need to finish the cosmetics but I want to shoot it some first. I plan on using JB weld to fill the gaps between the front of the magazine adapter and the Mauser magazine box. I plan on mounting a Mauser front sight and using a receiver mounted peep sight for a back up to the pistol scope. the stock is going to be refinished but not sure what I will do to it yet. 45 acp will feed and eject, or least dummy rounds will. I will have to make a bullet guide out of brass and put it between the magazine and the feed ramp in the receiver that should make feeding 100%. Here are a few pictures:

In the last month I have seen at least 10 roadkill in Williamson county. Haven't seen a live one yet. According to Willie Nelson in Barbarosa they were good eating. LOL:D

I fly fish. I used to go to Percy Priest caught a lot of different types of fish there. The lake behind two rivers mansion used to be fun to go catch panfish with a popper. I had a couple of nights were i caught 30 plus fish. My arm got tired. I want to go try below the dam in Columbia and see what I can catch.

I was in High school visiting my cousins in Cannon City CO. We were shooting various things with a 22. My cousin shoot at a target on the ground about 5 feet away One round hit a rock and the 22 lr ricochet hit in the right shoulder did not penetrate very deep. Hurt like hell. Pulled it out with grimy fingers cleaned and still have the scar. The cousin is now a correctional officer at the super max there in CO. So Buford shoot off his own finger.... very interesting.

I bought a .22 LR conversion unit at Knob creek made by CMMG. My 22 conversion works and shoots fine, until it is time to remove it from the upper receiver. before installing it in the upper I oiled the bolt and put some teflon grease on the outside of the rails. I only fired 100 rounds and tried to removed the conversion unit and it was stuck. Got it home pulled the upper off the lower and tapped it off with a brass punch. Tried to slide the unit back and and remove it with the upper not on the gun. I still had to tap it out. The sides of the rails are very rough could polishing them help? The upper I am using is a JSE surplus upper. It operates correctly with the DPMS chrome BCG I use to Shot 5.56/ 2.23. Any other ideas?

I got bitten by the AR bug. I ordered an upper from JSE surplus. I choose the 18 inch 1:8 twist flat top with gas block. I upgraded it to a chrome DPMS BCG. For a lower I decided on a Plum Crazy lower purchased from the Armory in Lebanon I shot it with an old scope I had laying around the house. at 50 yards it will shoot under an inch If I do my part While I was at knob creek picked up two polymer 20 round mags and a CMMG .22 lr stainless conversion kit My wonderful wife decided to surprise me for my birthday. She got me a Glock 21 in 45 ACP. It is a police trade in and she got it for a really good price it has some holster wear but very little on the internals. It came with 2 13 round mags. I already had some 10 round mags from a long time ago. While I was shopping at knob creek I found a 27 round extended mag for it so I had to have it. Here are both new additions with their magazines. Please disregard the date and time stamps on the photos. I can't get the digital camera to update the date.
