i hope to shoot it this weeken ,igot it took apart and cleaned and grease added where it was needed

i ordered it from cmp,it took 65 day to get it after they recieved the order for it and 600 rounds of ammo.i ask for a low sn and original stock.rifle is a 43 springfield service grade made in 1943.i got lucky with it because it is one that was sent to the marines in GUAM. the sn is on a list of rifles shiped there. it also has the 0-66 on it showing it was reworked by the marines.it has all correct parts except the new var barrel installed by cmp.i also got a ww2 ammo can in with my order of ammo

i got mine acouple of days ago tood 65 days from the time i ordered it to get it.

almost bought one but i may let my c&r run out this may.had it for years and prices have just went crazy on every thing if you can find it.may even sell some of mine off.

i have shot it and it shoots great. bore is in vg shape just alittle dark.

no finn markings and it is a war time stock

i bought this acouple of months ago from a gunstore that thought it was a rough shape 91/30.i got it cheap because they did not know what they had. rifle has mix match numbers and no import stamp.finding a dragoon in original shape is a lucky find and they will start out around $400 .

hex recievers will cost more.was buying they last year for $89

i got an email and they are just now shipping rifles from jan 10th and my order did not get there till the 15 or 16th  of jan but they have cashed the check for it.

stock is spliced and this is the 2 finn civilguard stamps .it did not have the slinghangers on the stock.

i found it in the serville pawn shop. they did not know what it was i gave $150 for it almost 2 years ago..the rifle is also sa maked for the finnish army and has 2 civil guard no's on it. and no import marks. rifle also is matching

i love the cz82 i have it shoots great .

thinking about letting mine run out this time.,i have not ordered anything in about a year. what i have bought came from gunshows and pawn shops.most of what i collect now has dried up and when a dealer does have it it sell out fast..the last time or 2 ain got in mosin nagants they were sold by the time i got the email and k98's are long gone from the importers.

they charged my cc last friday so i should have mine in acouple of weeks. 12 is the limit that will let you buy a year on the garand's and no more..

anyone would be crazy to pay that for one.my 4 surplus mags  will have to do.i only carried 8 while oversea's

a guy run a red light and hit my wife's driver fender and it messed up some of the hood.insurance tolaled it because it was 10 years old.i got lucky they other guy insurance payed me for the car and i got to keep it .i ended up spending $250 for the replacement finder and hood at a junk yard.i do auto body so i painted it my self and had money left over.

last summer you could buy a crate for around $1500  shipping

i retired from the army in 04 and had 18 men under me.just about all of them believed in the right to bear arms. most of us were raised with guns in the house and i know i would not have went in to collect people guns  and my men would not have either.there were alot of people from the cities who did not like them and hated to do much training with them .they were just after a check.

i carry the xd40 compact and their is not much difference between the recoil of a 9mm.,i started shooting the 165 gr over the 180 because it seemed to shoot better in the compact.

i have bought from both over the years and never a problem .both are good to deal with.

sent in my paperwork for my garand.i was going to drive to anniston al to pick it up.i got an email that they have  over 500 rifles on backorder.the store is just about empty.looks like it will be anywhere from 30-60 days before they are caught up and orders still coming in.also ordered 600 rounds of ammo for it.
