  1. i may not get rich but in the next 5-10 years i bet we will see the prices sky rocket.invest $30 in a c&r license and you can get it delivered to your house for around $110 for a round reciever , the more you buy the cheaper they are.i just sold a matching laminated 1948 m44 that i bought acouple of years ago for $250 and only had $50 in it. and i sold it to a guy in a gunshop where a friend of mine works.he did not want what is on the market now because they are junk.the gunshop ordered 3 and sent all back because they looked so bad.
  2. i bought my first k98 back in the early 90's for $69,look at the prices now. i also bought my first 91/30 for $25. .i disagree that they are not collector rifles.they made alot but we will not see all of them and i have noitced that they are not as many being imported or sold like a few years ago.i like the hex's better because they were made better but they are getting harder to find and the price keeps going up.just keep thinking they are only $100 guns and just wait afew years to see the price.buy them and the ammo while you still can.and if you can find a good finn rifle buy it.the ammo prices will also go through the roof before it dries up.i stocked up on the 8mm when it was $40-$50 a case and still buying the nagant ammo.
  3. break cleaner on the metal parts hair dryer on high on the wood
  4. do not try to fire any of the new made ammo for this rifle.it is a model 1888 that started out with a .318 size bore and even if it has the s stamped on the reciever to shoh that the bore was redone to convert it to the .323 round which is what all surplus and modern ammo is now.the barrel cannot stand the pressure of it. if you do want to shoot it you will need to have the barrel sluged and have someone make you hand loads for it with a lite power charge. even then i would only let someone do it that could do it correct.you do not want to split a barrel or have the bolt tear the locking lugs off and come back in your face. the 98 action took care of all the problems that they had with the rifle .paul mauser knew what he was doing. if it were mine i would make a nice display of it and hang it on the wall. if you notice the one in the video has no recoil.these gund would kick like a mule.
  5. i just hate the long wait. wish it was on now.
  6. would grab my k98 sniper or mosin nagant sniper and start shooting the one's in the back first.
  7. i would grab my ar15 mand make tracks out of there, would rather find some where safe to hold up away from the big city .i would give the wife the mak 90
  8. still have 2 of them and they are good guns.if you find a 52 dated one buy it because they are very hard to find.
  9. i have had both and i liked the yugo m57 better.should have kept it but i was buying a ar and sold off some guns for it.
  10. $89-$99 is still cheap for a round reciever.at onr time i bought them for $25 each in the early 90's along with $39 turk mausers
  11. start buying ammo while you can still find it. the prices have doubled from last winter.
  12. no one knows why they made some like that. some of mine have it on the markings under the stock so you have to take it out to see it.
  13. picture of my mak 90
  14. i just want to shoot one zombie
  15. my carry gets cleaned even when i do not take it shooting for a while just because of that
  16. the smaller the dot the better ,1moa is what i wishni had instead of 3
  17. also lots of supply's on hand also, they could stay in one part that had control of it all or load up and find a smaller place to go to.
  18. good sks or ak and i like the xd 9mm and 40. mosin nagant with a scope would make a good long distance gun if money were tight.and the ammo can be found easy for all the above.
  19. prison will be a good place to go to if the zombies are in their cells or dead...
  20. xd 40 is allways on my hip or laying next to my pc and i can get my hands on more within a couple of feet
  21. for the ones who were never there you do not understand, you see what the news lets you see and not what you should see. i do not agree 100 % about killing the kids, but when they get old enough to carry a rifle that is another story.i cannot stand them or or what they stand for .you cannot trust them and the ones that the military does still needs shot with the others.i saw more that i will ever forget and i would not turn him over ,most combat soilders would not either.
  22. finaly some blood and guts.maybe glenn will get his before he steps up to the plate or trying to save his girlfriend.
  23. i like the people who can buy a $470.000 doomsday bunker. if i could buy one know one would know about it.
