Anyone go to the Wilson county show this weekend? -
I love to hunt these tree rats here at home with my airgun. No tree rat is safe from 50-60 yds. in me and my neighbors Operation Squirrel Free Zone. I would love to take the ole shotguns out in the woods though if anyone has land near Gallatin or Hendersonville.

When I am more casual I too love my Protech TR4.......when I have a suit, sport coat, or tux on I carry my Protech Godson Tuxedo in my jacket. If I had a 2nd favorite for jackets I would select the Protech Magic. -
I do......enjoy your boring Glock 19
-
Yes I have shot a Glock and it was no big deal.......I would still prefer a Sig, CZ, or Beretta
-
You should know that an M9/92FS is too large to carry but just right to protect home.
-
After seeing my 92FS they smiled and said they loved the M9.......accurate and dependable!!!
-
I have had many Seals at my home and when we discuss firearms they all have stated that they loved the Sig 226S and were not happy of the decision to go to Glock. They did say that A seal has many other options than the "official firearm" also.
-
And your prediction skills blows also. My son is a Marine and it would probably surprise you that I know many Navy Seals.

Beretta 92FS Smoking Deal! (449.99 Shipped from PSA)

Me too Hawk!!! -
Both of our entrants win over the Glock!
-
Beretta M9/FS92 has been used by our military for the over 20 yrs and has been dropped in more sand and swamps than your glock has ever been exposed to and yet performs flawlessly.
-
As previously stated, I think the Glock design is plain Jane and boring. I also think that the reliability "advantage" is grossly overstated as most firearms today are very reliable. And finally, Glocks are not even priced affordable anymore.....I mean why would I spend $600 on a Glock when I could spend less than $400 and get a SW M&P that beats Glock everyday now on form and function.
-
Yeah and so do all of my other firearms.......
-
Res that is exactly what I was looking for in my initial inquiry. Personally, I would never buy a Glock but I felt like I was missing something as so many of you on here seems to be in love with the brand. Thanks again res for telling many sides other than "it is reliable".
-
How have I acted lick a dick? I am just trying to understand why anyone buys Glocks and seem loyal to them......the prevalent answer is reliability which I think most guns are these days. Harp mentioned a continuous trigger pull but that is easily fixed with most firearms.
-
Harp I did want honest opinions as I have a hard time personally feeling like that I would ever buy a Glock. Hate the look and reliability is a yank my chain quality as all of my firearms are rock steady reliable.
-
Harp it is not that hard to change out a trigger......just saying. For each his own I guess. Consistent trigger pull is a new reason to love your Glock I guess. But the reliability falls a bit on deaf ears as my Beretta and Sigs have performed flawlessly as do most firearms made in last 20 years.
