I would never shoot a spike or a split tine. My biggest problem when that 8 point walks by is judging its age. I do not have enough experience to have mastered this. Any sure fire ways to judge?

My son is listed as active military as he is a student at the US Naval Academy.I was planning to take him deer hunting while he is home for Christmas. Is there a military exemption for having to take this class? He is 20 and probably knows more now about the safety and care of weapons than I do. This could majorly mess up our plans.

I was in the woods yesterday also. I did hear several rifle shots but did not see a deer though. I hope I am not too late.

My deer season is starting late this year. I am going out today to stake a good blind spot on a good virgin 80 acre spot and set up a game camera. Any word on the status of the rut in middle TN?

Willis, I will concur that Protech is 1st Class All The Way!!!!!! Every December we host the TN ALL Academy Military Ball for those TN kids that are serving at our nation's service academies and ROTC. Every year we get a collection of silent auction items that we accept bids on with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warriors. Ok Willis, we have not had any updates since last Friday. Is there machine going to be fixable or do we need to choose different finishes on our blades?

Bud's also doesn't charge sales tax for TN residents. So FFL charge could be added to local price to get apples to apples but the local price would still have the TN sales tax.
