I wouldn’t be as concerned with that as I would be in fixing the problem. I would try to call Sandi Duncan at the TBI and see if the problem is a disposition. If it is, a VAF may or may not help you. Good luck, I know it was a big hassle when I went through it.

The good news is that I could pull up my criminal history in front of the ffl, after reviewing it they were comfortable with transferring the firearm to me.

 

But I still need to get this "vaf packet" to help me in the future.

If anyone would answer a phone it would help speed that process up.
