1992 Shooter's Bible

Recommended Posts

Just unearthed a 1992 Shooter's Bible in the numerous boxes of books I've had stashed for years that are being culled.

For those that don't know, before the Internet the Shooter's Bible was a yearly publication that listed pretty much every new gun being made with MSRP prices.

If anyone wants me to look up something from that time let me know.  The MSRP's are sometimes comical.

That's a great book to own!

I remember only too well...way before the interwebz...when if you needed to do any non-local gun business, you had to subscribe/consult "The Shotgun News", purchase the "Shooter's Bible" and utilize what's referred to as snail-mail...why we even made phone calls back then! :pleased:

Oh yeah, you needed to subscribe to Brownells catalog as well, and know how to decipher the wholesale pricing...I had an FFL back in the late 80's to early 90's and these were the essential sources.

I sure do miss the $5.00 Hazmat fee of those times.
