Rare Sturm Ruger & Co. Single Six 22, 3 screw, flat loading gate, 5 1/2", 56-67 manufacture, pair 2,000

Recommended Posts

A Pair of Ruger Single Six 5 1/2" barrel 22 pistols. The are three screw model, but most importantly they are flat loading gate models which are harder to source. These were purchased by my father in the 50's. I have shot them many times, the barrels still look great. I'm just starting to clear out stuff I don't use or need, Im not getting any younger and after losing my wife of 45 years about a month ago, I realized that some things are more important in life than just stuff collecting for the sake of stuff collecting...I have two daughters and neither are interested in all in firearms. Im slowly getting rid of my collectibles so it will be easier for my girls once I'm gone. They would prefer the money over the collectibles.

The serials on these are not sequential, but they were purchased at the same time. 36xxx and 38xxx, I believe he was stationed in California when he purchased them. Very good condition considering age. I can only upload a few pics because of size, but can send more if you need, just pm me with an email

Pickup in Bartlett TN, bill of sale required

Give these guys a good home somebody, they aren't going to get any cheaper for sure

⚠️ Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers ⚠️

This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO.

  • Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with.   Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete.  Your experience will help others.

  • Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.

  • Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.
