Glock 19 Gen 5 (Knoxville) *SOLD*

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

well....  after having a deal to sell this to someone (who shall remain nameless) on this forum (yes he said he wanted both glocks i am posting) and and then getting ghosted I decided to post this up for sale.

glock 19 gen 5 .  one factory glock mag.  only has two backstraps (both have 2 on them) with two pins and pin pusher.  one glock mag loader.  one lock but no manual.  no cleaning brushes.  factory glock box is missing one hinge.  VERY minor holster wear on front of slide.  slide lock has finish rubbed off.  rest of the gun looks very good.

trying to "thin the herd" a bit and sell a few duplicate (or close) guns so letting this one go.

i will NOT travel more than 25 miles from rocky hill in west knoxville (37919) to sell.

buyer must show TN ID (prefer HCP) and be willing to sign a bill of sale to prove they can legally purchase.  if you are not 100% legit please don't contact me.  i will not sell to anyone that even has the hint of not being legal to purchase.

happy to answer any questions or provide more information or pictures to seriously interested parties.  please be seriously interested in purchase before contacting me.  i don't have time for tire kickers.  i know this sounds harsh but i'm tired of dealing with idiots.  most gun people used to be stand up people but it's getting to be more and more like fb marketplace

$425 cash.  i'm old school.  no weird e-payments or checks.  trades considered but not likely.

thanks for looking.

⚠️ Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers ⚠️

This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO.

  • Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with.   Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete.  Your experience will help others.

  • Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.

  • Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.

  • 2 weeks later...

starting to lose faith in people.  after holding this gun for two week and being contacted last night that the buyer would head my way around 11am eastern time i got ghosted.  planned my whole afternoon around meeting this guy who said he really wanted the gun.  i get that #### sometimes happens but i had planned to honor my word and meet this guy at a time that was convenient for him only to get stood up and hang out for a couple of hours this afternoon waiting to be contacted.

all that crying aside...  gun is back up for sale.  $425 cash to qualified  buyer.  price is firm.  i like to haggle as much as the next guy but please don't contact me and offer me $350 and want me to drive halfway to nashville.  😉

That sucks a big one, thankfully I've not had this happen yet. Leave this person the appropriate trader feedback so the next person will have a heads up.

i still haven't heard from the person who backed out.  i guess it's possible some type of emergency happened so i'll refrain from any negative feedback for the recent poor experiences...

how does one change the status to "ad closed" without removing the title and details of the ad?  i barely figured out how to change the title.  😉

Go to edit (3 dot at top right of add), under prefix,  clear the "for-Sale" by hitting the "x". Then select the "ad closed" or "sold" prefix. Prefix should be the second box under title within the edit option.
