What are you paying for wheel weights?

One of the tire shops in my area are charging $40 for a 5 gallon bucket of mixed WW. Another is giving them away free but it's a hit or miss. A recycling center wants $0.70/lb for scrap WW. What's the going/fair rate in TN?

LOL Mike...A bunch of comedians. I picked up about 2 gallons for free today and made a few hundred bullets. I also found a place in KY that is selling WW for $0.25/lb

Care to tell where that place is and a name? That's not a bad price.

Sure...City Salvage and Recycling in Hopkinsville, KY 270-886-5606. I'm not sure if it's a mix of Fe, Pb, and Zn, I haven't purchased any yet. There has to be place around here somewhere Walmart, Sears and all those other corporate tire dealers have to recycle their WWs.
