Retaking CCW Class

After a few months trying to figure out how to convert my Fl permit to Tn permit, it was concluded that I had to retake the class. Tn doesnot recognize Fl because of a lack of safety portion in the Fl class. I retook the class Saturday at Sevierville Indoor Range. Very well done, but really hard metal chairs and one stupid required movie. Cost was $65 but, that inlcudes 30 days unlimited indoor range time. They hold classes monthly if anyone in the area is interested.

Sorry for the "hoops' you had to jump through, but glad it is taken care off. With the price of the class including range time, all-in-all not a bad deal!

Well, congrats...again...I guess...Kinda sucks that you had to do all of that, but as you already know, it's worth the time and hassle......and 30 free days on the range....That's pretty cool.

Well damn sorry that our state is so damn sorry about the conversion.

Sounds like you'll break even if you use the range a couple of times in the next month.

Best going price (outdoors) up here is $50.

ranges here in chattanooga SUCK. you have to buy a membership and that costs a couple of hundred bucks. one range has a limit on the hours your able to take up a lane even though your paying for the membership, and the jerk requires you to buy your ammo there from him at an inflated price. i shoot at an outdoor range that is maintained by the state. screw those money taking commie bastards.

Holy crap on a stick...that is a great deal! and a good business and saftey offering...30 days of free practice (well minus ammo)

I took a look at the Sevierville Indoor Range website. Looks like they are doing a lot of things in the right way. Prices seem reasonable.

And I think including a month of range time with the HCP class is a very smart business move.

Not to mention you get people used to coming to your place they are less likely to find somewhere else to go shoot.
