Is Taurus still making the 905 revolver? They show it in the catalog but I see no email to ask them. Has anyone bought one or shot one of these? I like the idea of 9mm in a revolver if it works. I know Smith had a problem with theirs a while back.

Can anyone give feedback?

I've had two of the Taurus 905s. The problem with the Taurus is that the moonclips are flimsy. If you carry a loaded spare in your pocket the clip will bend and the ammo will fall out.

9mm out of a snubbie "ain't" no joke to shoot either.

I also had a wonderful shooting 9mm Ruger Speed Six which I should not have traded. Sturdy clips of which I had something like 18 or 20. I would go through ammo in that revolver nearly as fast as I could with a 9mm Glock. That was a fun gun.

If I were going to get a pocket cannon I would get the Keltec PF9 - I've had two of those also.

I generally just carry a Glock 19L 9mm and Keltec .32 nowadays and call it a done deal.

I had one last year. I shot about 200 rounds through it and sold it becasue of the moon clips. As stated above they are weak and don't always hold the rounds in place. I also had problems with extraction. The rounds would stick in the chamber and you would have to pry them out.

I haven't seen a rimless revolver yet that I liked. Charter was suppose to release some new designs without moon clips but I haven't head anything about them in over a year and all information regarding them on the website has gone away.. They probably scrapped the idea...
