I am going to ream him out something awful.

For those of you who've forgotten, here's a short history of the dirtbag's misdeeds...

The sexual harassment incident

The betrayal of Mumpower

The $17 million fish pond

And now this...

No Health Freedom? Thanks, a lot, Speaker Williams : Post Politics: Political News and Views in Tennessee

If you live in Carter County, please spread the news, and please vote this loser out.

Kent, go jump in a lake.

Kent's contact info (hat tip to Matt Collins, C4L):

Phone (615) 741-7450 or (423) 768-3431

Fax (615) 253-0310

speaker.kent.williams@capitol.tn.gov

Please call Kent's office and give him a good thrashing.

FWIW I don't seem him being speaker next session...assuming he even gets re-elected to the House.

I hope you are right. Kent has done enough damage. He is a week-old maggot burger with everything on it and flies on the side. A slime-coated, pimple-farmin' paramecium brain.

Likewise, I don't see Williams returning as speaker. Thankfully, that may mean a significant realighment in some of the key committee chairs and memberships, which could be a very good thing. He'll probably be re-elected (not aware that he has any serious opposition), but hopefully relegated to the back of the bus.

And yet with him at the helm, we've gotten more pro-gun legislation passed than we could have gotten under Naifeh. :)

Can't argue with that.

My guess is that we would have gotten the same, if not even more, pro-gun legislation through with almost ANY Republican speaker. Not so much that Williams was the key, just as long as it wasn't Naifeh or one of his close cronies didn't have the chair. Would be willing to bet that even more pro-2A legislation would have gotten to the floor had it not been for some of Williams' committee and chair appointments....which likely would have been considerably different under Mumpower, or several others.

Don't sugercoat it, tell us what you really think of him. :D

I feel the same way about Nafieh and a few others, Pelosie, Bloomberg, and now Haslam etc. I have the utmost disdain for some of them. Since the TN Health Freedom Act passed, I suspect a few on the floor reminded him how easy it will be soon to replace him as speaker. Let's hope they do it anyway.
