Don't be shy... step right up!

New here? Step up and tell us about yourself. ;)

A good format to follow would be your first name (if you care to share it), where you're from, what your interests are, what gun(s) you have, where you like to shoot, etc.

It helps break the ice and you might just find new friends as a result.

i dont guess i used this format.

ill do it now.

Daniel

from knoxville live in franklin.

my interest's would be tactical shooting as that is what my bg is in but im a bit rusty. by this i mean transitioning from rifle to hg, doing reflexive fire drills and the like but not having an ar type rifle im not able atm.

i am about to purchase a g19 and i own an old shotgun of my grandfathers. the wife has been pretty adamant about not having guns in teh house but i finally convinced her it wouldnt be a problem after i let it slip i had that one in the closet for about a year and no one had been killed.

i have been going to on target with my father in law as he has a .32 beretta i forget the name and a kimber 1911. id prefer to go to an outdoor range or someone with land that lets you shoot as that is what i always did back in knoxville.

anyway i think that covers it.

five oh deuce.

Not everybody is born under a lucky star. Those who aren't just have to live with their jealousy of us Rakkasans. You'll grow used to it over time.

j/k wit ya, brother. When the day is done, all that matters is that we all wore the same uniform, and did the same duty. At least you were 101st, and not some lawn dart from the Airplane Gang.

BTW, if you ever get to feeling the ole' trigger finger itching for a little trip down memory lane, drop me a line. I'll bring out the M-16's and suppressors, and we'll hit the range.

exactly what i was hoping to hear tbh frank. im still in a parachute rigger unit here in nashville for the reserves even though im a pog now. although we have a couple of cib owners in the company including one new plt sgt from 5th group who started his career years ago in our company then went active. hes deployed atm but should be back soon. when i was in iraq i worked with the a team he worked with in fallujah. ive been trying to get us to do some more infantry related training. we have like 50+ things we are supposed to cover during training throughout the year and most of it could be done in a single 4 or 5 day field problem if planned right. when sfc blue gets back he'll prob be our first sgt and i think we'll be able to get it to happen.
