Depends on what you want to do with it. Without the original mag, you lose out on the originality. If you're just going to shoot it, I would go for a Chinese version as those had a chrome lined barrel. The Yugos are fine weapons, but unless you are collecting, the Chinese versions are cheaper.

yugo's in my opinion are Ok :/ sks's but if your just going to be shooting as mentioned before a good norinco would be best suited and you can get them for about 100 less and spend the rest on buying ammo 7.62 has come down some so you can pick up 1000 rounds for 199 +shipping which for me was like 14 bucks... AND MIKE and garufa when is the next range session i haven't been up there in a while, couldn't find my key for a month lol and then went out to cali for a month

I bought one of those with all original parts and an extra tacpo receiver cover scope mount for $175 OTD less than 3 years ago. I also bought my first Norinco for exactly $100 a year before that. its kinda crazy how the prices on these have gone up so much and so fast.

I think I've said it here before but aftermarket mags on the SKS don't feed for crap. Especially if its the plastic ones.
