S&W 1911PD Gunsite *LOTSA PICS*

Hey, all. I finally got my Smith & Wesson Gunsite in this week and thought I'd post a few pics. It doesn't look like I'll get out to shoot it this weekend, but a range report isn't far away. Feel free to post pics of your own in response.

This one bears the FSP (Front Site, Press) serial number prefix, and is the 940th unit produced. It has minor handling marks but was unfired by the original owner. I can't wait to shoot the snot out of it! :D

Thanks, all. It's got an extremely tight slide to frame fit. Trigger take-up is a little springy, but it breaks crisps and has a nice reset. I'm predicting it will be a great shooter.

ETA: I forgot to mention that while it is a Series 80 design, the FPS is linked to the grip safety, leaving the trigger feeling just like a Series 70 gun. Pretty cool innovation.
