Has anyone owned or shot one of these rifles. For those that haven't seen them they are lightweight .223 rifles that accept AR mags. I read about them online but have not had a chance to put my hands on one yet.

I have a SU2000 (9mm).

Uses Glock mags.......nice little fold up gun for the money.

I would spend money on good rifle for the 223 rather than one of those.

I just picked one of these up at the first of the year. I am very happy with it. Very lightweight, and only about 24" long when folded up. I've only put about 30 rounds through it so far. You can check out www.ktog.org for all the information you could ever hope for.

I really looked hard at the SU16C. But as the demand for these went up so did the price. I figured I would rather have a true AR with a lot less plastic for the minimal difference in price.

Even with KT great rep on durability, I was a little concerned about the amount of plastic it used.

I heard that some of the original 10 rd magazines that came with them had a problem, but Kel-tec replaced them. I prefer 30 rd mags anyway, so it was never an issue for me.
