What I find interesting are the comments from our cousin's across the pond....

Some of them seem to have forgotten they live in an even stronger police state. As someone else pointed out, if they think that a couple snipers at the Super Bowl are bad, they'll wet their knickers when they see the armed presence at the Olympics in a few months.

Not to mention the million cameras monitoring your every move. I won't go to U.K. for anything, not even if it was a "free" trip. They have even outlawed the carrying of Knives over there. ( but i hear bats and batons are still legal).

No they're not, unless you can show they are occupational related.

You can, however, under the guise of general utility, carry a non-locking folder with sharpened edge of 3" or less. Spyderco and Boker, among others, have knives marketed primarily just for the UK.

How pathetic Americans are. They moaned and bitched about how no one in Gov did anything to prevent 9/11 and even went as far as to suggest some in the White House were involved in the terrorist plot but when someone actually does something to try and protect them, they complain it's too much. frank, Detroit - Michigan - USA - You came in in 1917 for the 1st world war and 1941 in the 2nd and only after being bombed having tried everything possible to avoid fighting against racism and fascism - cowards. Hardly side by side the whole time, were you? Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, South Africa and many, many, MANY more also helped out in the WORLD WARS and they don't keep banging on about "we saved you" because we/they actually learn our history and we know that the parts we played earlier in the war were more important then your part when you finally joined in after we'd already been fighting for YEARS. Now lets talk about Iraq and Afghanistan. Killed anymore allies recently?
