First slug gun

I have several shotguns but I don't shoot them much. I like rifles. So when 221 Fireball here put a 21" Remington slug barrel with sights up for sale I had to have it. I have shot a couple of groups at 60 yards even better and this one at 50. I was using Winchester 1 oz 1600fps slugs. This thing shoots dead on and groups awesome I even dings the 200 yard plate 1 out 3 at the range the other day....the 2 misses were real close. I am going to have to group it at 100 next time as that is about the max I would ever take a shot.

Great shootin!! I had no idea the slug barrels would shoot that well.

Thanks for posting the pics!! Now to get to work findin a rifled slug barrel for

my browning bps under the bed!! Or even better, find one with a rifled slug barrel (...or a model 12 or a model 37 or, or or.... . Ya cant have too many shotguns....).

Ya'll do understand I said 50 yards.....I chunked a few at a metal silhouette at 200 and hit it once. My barrel is a smooth bore too. I think a 100 yards is going to be the limit for the accuracy, my eyes with open sights and the energy of a 1 oz slug. Now you guys with the rifles barrels and a sabot loaded slug can get on out there.
