I got it at a pawn shop. Had to take it for repair, the guy who fixed it said if I ever wanted to get rid of it, he wanted it. Only charged me $15 labor and gave me the part for cost + shipping. He works evenings and weekends after his day job and said he enjoys working on older guns. I like the bottom eject it has.

Very nice. I'm a sucker for nice wood on a shotgun. In the pics it almost looks like the wood grips on your J-Frame match it!

Hopefully, unless they are on drugs, or just don't care, the sound of racking a round into the chamber will cause them to exit.:hat:

Hopefully you will have enough time to rack one into the chamber...it's better to just keep one in the chamber. imho.:P

My thoughts exactly.

Besides what if he's exerting himself so much stealing your tv/fridge/sofa that he doesn't hear the racking. You could be racking for hours while he enjoys your iPod. :hat:

Nice looking old J frame as well.Is it a model 36 or a 37?.

Pre 36, contacted S&W and they said it was made in 1953. Great gun, qualified for my HCP with it. Now I'm just waiting for my paperwork to clear.

Shot a Springfield XD9 at the range today. Now I'm sure "I gotta have one!"

Unless they are on drugs, or expecting 49 virgins, the sound of racking a round into the chamber will cause their bowel and bladder to empty.

Fixed.
