I felt like a rich man today...

You've seen those rich tycoons that light cigars with hundred dollar bills. Well I now know how they must feel.

With such pretty weather this afternoon I indulged myself and did a little plinking with a .22 rifle and a pistol. I shot off mite near 200 rounds. Man was it grand. There's nothing better than livin' large. I can only imagine how the peasants live.

Sic. .... back to beans and rice tomorrow.

And to think as a kid I'd run through 500 rds of .22 on an average Sunday.... now, 500 rds would be like hitting the lotto. I'm on a notification list for half a dozen websites to get .22 LR; what is going on with that? I don't get why panickers and hoarders went nuts on .22. Some of just want to go to the range and shoot.

years ago Jeff Cooper in his Gunsite Gossip articles stated that it would be wise to stock up on .22lr for a rainy day.I think the term he used was it would be "ballistic wampum".The Col. was a very wise man.

Making it rain up in here (using .22 shells instead of dollar bills)

I can totally imagine a country boy making it rain 22s in a strip club! Gives new meaning to keeping your powders dry, eh :D
