Pepe Le Pew is in my yard!

fox urine works, but you need to make sure it won't bother your dogs any.  Had a boston terrier and the stuff didn't bother her any, but probably need to check about your breed

I caught one in a live trap in front of my house just off of Haywood Lane in Nashville. It cost me $56 to get a wildlife trapper to get him and take him away. Didn't even spray when caught or carried away. The trapper did get sprayed when he swapped the cages though. AFAIC it was money well spent! Never would have guessed that there was a skunk in the area. Never smelled one here!

(Accidentally hit post before i was done) but i saw a skunk in the road that looked like it had been recently ran over and there was another skunk there tugging on it trying to pull it from the roadway. I had heard of dogs doing this but to see a skunk doing this was weird.

Other than the potential smell, skunks are good critters to have around.  They eat all kinds of much less desirable critters.  They're also typically pretty docile.  Trapping and relocating is probably the best option.

Skunks do not spray as often as people think of them. Do not chase a skunk and he'll never cause any troubles. I had a skunk living under my deck in Michigan. Never any problems, except he woke up in winter and beg for food

keep in mind, in TN, it is agin the law to relocate a nuisance wildlife animal.

Trap it, kill it. (which is what a pest control /animal control person will do)

Otherwise, live with it.

Yup.  As long as they keep eating my yellowjacket nests, they can stay.  If my dog gets sprayed, it's his problem.
