Heres what i think about it.

Freedom of religion and freedom of assembly are two of the rights specifically protected in the constitution.  If the Muslim community wants to hold a peaceful demonstration why should any one care.  Or are we at the point where were willing to suspend the constitution when it applies to people we disagree with.

As far as Russian troops, that has been debunked a while ago.  Yes there was an agreement between FEMA and its Russian counterparts.  That agreement is an exchange of experts.  for training and readiness purposes not sending in troops.

I think a quote from another forum member about another conspiracy theory thread sums up my opinion fairly well.

"Thoughts? This is a crap load of crap from crap town. I'm pretty tired of all the conspiracy crap already. It's crap like this that distracts people from the real issues this country is facing."  -TrickyNicky

I'm definitely not for getting in the way of any peaceful religion holding any kind of peaceful rally, meeting, ceremony etc....I'm for the constitution when It directly benefits me as well as when it might seemingly go against what I would like to happen at that moment. I should have specified before hand that I did not buy into any of the conspiracy theory part of it. What I was asking thoughts on was the fact the said religion of peace that took out the twin towers and the pentagon on 9/11  and took out our embassy last year on 9/11 is the same "religion of peace" that now wants to hold a rally  (if there is any truth to the rally at all) in our countries capitol on 9/11... I'm not saying that they shouldn't be allowed to do it on that day but to choose 9/11 over one of the other 364 days of the year seems to me to be a slap in the face boarding on spit in the face. I consider the rest of the article to be hogwash until I see evidence to the contrary.

I agree that that choice of date seems to be in bad taste.  I can also see why they chose that day though as thats the moment that some started viewing all muslims as enemies of the country regardless of their actions.

But for that particular date seems like it would damage their cause more than help it.

I guess it all completely depends on their motives huh?

Well the first thing that comes to mind, it's some no name moron that is trying to get attention by choosing a date like that.  If it was a legit organization they would not choose that specific date.

Whole thing is almost as stupid as that idiot that took a shotgun to DC to "teach the government a lesson"
