Obama/Biden Team Limps Off the Starting Blocks

:screwy:Those wacky Dems are at it again.

They can't say s**t without stepping in it.

Biden has already played the race card on his own boss now when he said

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

They certainly can't hang that on the Republicans any more.

Another Joey B Statement:

In an interview late last year George Stephanopoulos asked Biden “Is he ready?” “You said, ‘I think he can be ready but right now, I don’t believe he is.

The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.’” “I think that I stand by the statement,”
Biden said this as he stood directly beside Barack (Barry) Hussein Obama.

Obama’s choice in Joe Biden contradicts everything he said he stood for during the primaries. Of course this is not his first course correction as he has tried to edge a little closer to the center, angering his leftist supporters. Joe Biden represents old Washington politics and is 66 years old. Where’s that “new” politics and "change" that Obama has been preaching about?

Now Barry and Joey are stumbling all over their tounges at the same speaking engagement-

“So let me introduce you to the next President,”
he said, quickly catching and correcting the mistake,
“Vice President of the United States of America…”

Is Barry expecting Joey to be a shadow president as the Dems have accused Dick Chaney of being? You think Obama really believes Biden, that Barry has no experience to be President?

Biden then turned around in his speach and screwed up by referring to Barry in his speech as “Barack America”.

Here's the link to the Biden Gaff clock counting down the hours to the next Biden gaff like "Barack America" currently at 00 days 19 hrs 08 min 40 sec. at this posting. http://www.gop.com/

The problem is, the people who will vote for these morons don't care. They will elect them just because the aren't Republicans. The DNC could run a comatose chimpanzee and their target demographic would enthusiastically support them.

That phenomenon is by no means restricted to Democratic voters. Hell, look at the Republican candidate. Who'da thunk us gunnies would come out in favor of a man who's in favor of Closing The Gun Show Loophole?

I ain't saying that McCain isn't a more favorable choice than Obama- but there are plenty of folks who will vote for him simply because he's the Republican candidate.

I agree there.

Well I believe most people will vote obama because he's black, yes not african-american, you are either american or not. And is a change from status quo, or whatever the sheeple deem that to be. Like has been said before here and other places I think americans as a whole are used to believing what the big 4 or 5 media outlets are spoon feeding them and are afraid to hear what really may be the truth.

Its an sad course, but me thinks that bidens negativism and rabble rousing could really help their side. Time will play its course obviously, but I expect a jump in the polls potentially for the dems after this w/e. Hopefully I am wrong and am only seeing the glass half full.

VP Candidate Biden Is No Friend to File Sharing, Net Neutrality Protection or Online Privacy [Net Neutrality]

By Wilson Rothman on Politics

CNet's Declan McCullagh wrote up an informative history of Joe Biden's tech-related voting record—if Biden's name rings a bell, it's because he's the guy Barack Obama picked to be his vice president last Friday night. Maybe you don't care about the doings in Washington, but you may want to know that Biden considers a lot of what you do care about criminal activity. Here's what I'm talking about:

• He asked Congress to spend $1 billion to monitor peer-to-peer activity. (In fairness, much of this is to prevent child pornography, but the tactic is apparently a little blunt.)

• Two Biden bills have been explicitly anti-encryption, because you know, encryption makes it hard for the FBI to read people's e-mails.

• He has expressed support for internet taxes and internet filtering in schools and libraries.

• The RIAA seems to be one of his best buddies: Biden sponsored a bill that would restrict recording of songs from satellite and net radio, and another one that would make it a felony to "trick" a computer into playing back unauthorized songs or running bootlegged videogames. That latter one died when Verizon, Microsoft, Apple, eBay and Yahoo all argued against it.

• Biden was one of just four senators invited to attend a celebration of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act hosted by the MPAA's Jack Valenti and the RIAA's Hillary Rosen, two of American file-sharer's most wanted.

• When he was asked in 2006 about proposing net-neutrality laws, he said there was no need, since any bit-filtering violations would provoke such a huge public ruckus they'd have to hold congressional hearings anyway—and they'd be standing-room only. (Wonder if Biden reads Gizmodo.) [CNet]

He picked a wonderful moonbat to run with him. He won't get a broader base with that one; it will be the same crazies that would have voted for him anyway. I just hope his wonderful choice, which I fully believe was his last choice and the only one that would take the job, will drive others away and to the republican side.

according to the polls that where released he did not get a bump in them by making this his choice, darn.

Nope, In fact I hear that the Dems are rolling and crying over the fact the McCain is now leading in the Gallup poll. :dirty: Moonbat ticket I tell ya....fricken moonbats.

To be honest I'm ready to see a better day for all of us. I'm a business owner and I don't recall in my adult life (I'm 39) seeing America in a worst state. The cost of living higher than ever and income is lower than ever. People losing thier jobs, homes and families. Crime is growing because people are losing everything. And I'm ready to see our family members and friends come home, this is not a good war. Not to say war is ever good! Although I do believe there's a time for war. I just think it's time to bring our people home. And trust me I understand that's easier said than done.

As far as the 2nd Amendment I'm a strong believer and supporter. For God sakes I own close to 80 guns. But if all we are going to do is make the rich, richer (gas $3.60+, milk $5.00+ a gal. etc.). It's not going to matter if the laws say that we can buy guns or not. We are going to be so focused on keeping the roof over head, lights on, food on the table and gas in the tank. The avg. Joe will not be able to afford ammo let along the gun anyway. So I say vote on who you think will help make this a better place. Although I must say Palin would be easier to look it than Harry, Joey or Johnny Boy :-).....God Bless the USA.
